hey people, long time reader, first time reply. Just thought I'd finally say something on here. My earliest memory is watching Bret Hart in the WWF, not too long before the Screwjob. That and renting WrestleMania 9 and an Undertaker best of video, both featuring Undertaker vs Giant Gonzalez funnily enough.

I remember Flair winning the Royal Rumble. I think that's my earliest. My dad took me to a show here in Buffalo and the main event was IC champ Bret Hart and World champ Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair and Shawn Micheals. I remember going to that pretty well.

Wrestling on TBS and trying to catch it when it was on. Had to start somewhere. My first real memory is seeing an Indian character (Chief Jay Strongbow perhaps) being beat down and having his headdress stuffed into his mouth before being saved by Tony Atlas and Kevin Sullivan. I seem to remember being very upset when Atlas was knocked out with Ether (possibly by Austin Idol.) I think the clip is up on YouTube somewhere....I don't have the patience to look through all of them right now to link it.

I think for me it is a few. To explain I mean everyone knows who Hulk Hogan is even if they don't watch wrestling. He was defently the first wrestler I ever heard of and I thought he was pretty cool even if I hadn't really seen him in action yet. I was a little kid in the early 90s so I saw him everywhere.
I can't remember if I first started renting old WWF PPVs or watching WCW on TBS or TNT. If I had to guess I think it was renting WWF PPVs from the late 80s because I remember only being about 5 or 6 and watching old Survivor Series(were my favorite) and Wrestlemanias. In the town I use to live in there was an old grocery store that became a Blockbuster so it was huge and had lots of videos. It had tons of WWF PPVs.
It seems like whenever I watch old Survivor Series PPVs now I get a real nostalgia feeling and it feels good.
I think the first live wrestling I saw on TV was a WCW tag team match. I am for sure this was the first match I ever saw on actual TV. It was a tag team match and the team that lost broke up when one of the guys did a spin kick to his partner. I have no clue what team it was. I'm guessing it was a 1995-1996 jobber tag team on WCW's saturday show.
The first WCW Monday Nitro I watched live was when The Outsiders attacked the WCW wrestlers in the back with bats. It was when Kevin Nash threw Mysterio head first into the trailer.(Yeah after seeing that it is no wonder why I like wrestling so much. You could say I started watching wrestling right at the beginning of the biggest boom period. LOL)
My first WWF RAW I remember watching live was right before Wrestlemania 13 and I think it was Bret Hart VS Sid Justice in a cage match. I remember it being weird because Stone Cold and Bret Hart were fighting Undertaker and Sid because who ever won the match got the World Title and Undertaker and Stone Cold were the opponents of both those guys so they kind of teamed up to get the chance to wrestle for the world title.

I remember watching these really mean dudes called The Freebirds handcuffing someone to the ropes and just beating the hell out of him! I remember thinking "WHY ISN'T ANYONE STOPPING THEM?"

Watching Summerslam 1991 at my cousin's house. I didn't pay much attention to it, but it kind of started me watching wrestling in a sense. I really started watching wrestling full time that November.

Ric Flair vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage. At least I'm pretty sure that's my first memory.

I think I remember some kind of promo between Vince and mankind. With Vince in the ring and Mankind talking to him while walking towards it?
I didn't like Mankind at first because he wore sweat pants.

Tully Blanchard cutting a promo.
Edit: The exact year would have to be 1985 or 1986.

Undertaker tombstoned Hulk Hogan on a chair and the commentators were playing up how Hogan probably had a broken neck.
And my brother told me he would die from breaking his neck like that.
I cried until my parents reassured me that Hogan would be fine and win the WWF title back.

Summer of 1986, seeing Orndorff turn on Hogan and join up with Bundy/Studd/Heenan. I remember being so pissed at that.
