In the US, there are going to be tagged classics of RR and NWO of 2003 released soon.
But the good stuff is not in the US, or I'll buy them like drug users do for crack.

They're not cut up that bad. But avoid Survivor Series 1987/88 like the plague. They clip the Bulldogs geting eliminated in 87 and only 2 matches from 88 are shown fully.

I want 87 to be released uncut, so we can finally see the "how the Million Dollar Man spends Thanksgiving" segment. Including Linda McMahon down on all fours barking like a dog.

Coliseum edits got better over time. As mentioned, Survivor Series 1987 was BADLY cut up. Survivor Series 1988 was not as bad. They at least kept the two best matches in tact. As far as WM's, 6 and 7 were destroyed by editing, although WM 6 has Dusty shilling merchandise in the beginning, which probably makes up for a few of the promos they cut from the show. But I saw steady improvement from the late-80's to the 90's with the editing. Replacing promos or vignettes for time restraints is better than editing theme music and blurring logos. The WWF couldn't sell two VHS tapes for one show every release (like they did with WM 4).
Are Tagged the Coliseum versions? If so, just get the CHV VHS tapes and convert them if you have the capability (and resell the tapes on EBay when you're done). Or if you have a functioning VCR, watch it that way. I do agree that you, or any long time fan, should not settle for the WWE produced stuff.

I was going to ask a question about these anyway so here goes - for anyone who knows, how much editing is done to the WM 3 and WM 4 Coliseum Videos/Tagged Classics? i was thinking of getting that set but if they're too chopped up i can hold my breath and get the WM 3 Championship Edition and eBay for the WM 4 double VHS.

They are just the old Coliseum videos converted to DVD. If you have the VHS of these shows, in all the ones I've got it's exactly the same thing. Some of the mid-90's ones even have the free for all shows on them. The Coliseum version of Wrestlemania 3 was edited quite a bit, but it does include the Press Conference where Heenan says Hogan used to look up to Andre because it was 7 foot 5.

Here's a note to everyone about the WrestleManias, trust me, you'll be VERY interested.
Hunt down the box set the WWF released in 1997. No, NOT the Legacy version released in 98/99 with the big scratch logo on the box. Look for the box with the WM12-looking logo that has only the first 13 WMs. The versions you'll find on this set are the most complete official releases you will find. There are NO dubs or edits. PERIOD. You get the complete original broadcast versions, with only the intermissions (where you just get a blank screen with a logo and a countdown anyway) cut out. Hell, even the old merchandise commercials intended exclusively for the PPV are kept intact. For those of you who know your history, the song "Easy Lover" was used as the opener for WM1, and the song "Axel F." used for the closing credits. Both of these are dubbed over on all releases of the show except this one. There are countless other examples of dubs and edits that simply aren't present here.
For those of you who like math, let's line up the run times of the first WM based on the Coliseum release from 85/86 (can't remember its precise date of release), the Anthology DVD release from 2005, and finally, the Collection release from 1997. The Coliseum version runs at a meager 1 hour 51 minutes. The Anthology DVD version clocks in at 2 hours 12 minutes. The Collection version from 1997? 2 hours 20 minutes. So there's a half hour cut from the Coliseum version and nearly 10 minutes cut from the DVD version. That's just plain bad if you ask me.
I cannot emphasize this enough - if you want the most complete possible versions of the first 13 WMs, this is THE route to go. I have the set, and I've been transferring them to DVD recently. The Coliseum releases, with their dubs and cuts, especially in the earlier years, look like total garbage next to these. And of course, I won't even go near the 1998/9 set, with the tapes done in EP (6 hour mode), and the Attitude logo plastered all over the old shows. Sorry for the long post, I just saw you guys talking about the WrestleMania shows, and just had to let you in on this, because if you can find it on eBay, it's a real steal.
