www.prowrestling.com/article/news/9226It appears the Katie Lea/Paul Burchill incest angle has been dropped, even though they're still a team. I think this manager/wrestler duo has potential, but not with an incest angle.

Good. Now hopefully they'll give Burchill a new finisher.

What is the deal with incest? Who wants to see incest? Who pays to see incest? That has to be a very small portion of the audience, really. It's not racey and provocative, it's wrong. When, lord when will Pirate Paul get the chance to do his thing without being saddled with some lame popularity handicap?

It's Vince and his ego. Weren't there reports he was going to play off Nipple H's pregnancy a couple of years ago, and claim he was the father of his own daughter's child?

Maybe it was the "lack of interest" people have shown towards these two, so I assume they'll be moved back to Heat soon.

If it never starts...does it really exist?
I saw nothing incest-like in their actions. All that I saw happening was Burchill beating up people because his sister liked to see people in pain.
Sure, that makes her a masochist, but that doesn't mean they're 'involved.'
Also, for all the "Vince wants incest" people...you do realize most reports said that it was Burchill and Katie Lea who suggested the angle...right?

Anyway, how long has it been since we had wacky innuendo between the two? It hasn't been since they debuted as far as I remember.

nothing was ever proven that there was ever going to be an incest angle between the two, and the 'newz' sites who reported it all along said it was dropped a while ago anyway, ive never heard of prowrestling.com but they must be having a slow news day

If its been dropped then I see no reason to why Birchill can not be moved to SMACKDOWN if his opportunities become limited on RAW
The only reason he was on RAW in the first place was the channels that do ECW and SMACKDOWN did not want that kind of angle being played out on there stations

While I like the curbstomp I remember the first time he appeared in WWE he did a flying knee drop. A move you almost never see anymore. I wouldn't mind seeing it.

Speaking of finishers, did it look to anyone else like Katie could very easily have broken her leg on that top rope stomp move she did on RAW on Monday?

Actually, It'd make her a sadist, but I agree with your point. Outside of the "newz" reports, there was never any sign that this alleged incest angle was taking place.

Also, for all the "Vince wants incest" people...you do realize most reports said that it was Burchill and Katie Lea who suggested the angle...right? You do realize that the man wanted a storyline in which he was the father of his own daughter's child. And that ain't newz reports. It's on his own DVD.

Apparently it was defently going to happen. Someone high up or lower must of talked somone out of it.

Anyway, why would it be so wrong for WWE to touch on a taboo subject. Incest has been the catalyst for many works of literature, plays, movie plots, etc and nobody craps on that. Has anybody ever heard of Oedipus Rex?
