What exactly is funny about this guy? Why does everyone act as if he's the second coming of George Carlin??? I don't think I've found any humor at all in anything he's done, and I would like to have it explained to me (in a civil manner, please!) because I just don't get it.

I wouldn't say "second coming of George Carlin" funny, but I think someone ranting in an over-the-top voice using horribly butchered English is a funny enough concept and Santino (to me) has good delivery with that kind of humor. That's my take on it anyway. Humor's subjective after all, otherwise I wouldn't be seemingly the only person who doesn't find anything John Morrision or The Miz do comedic.

Pretty much just a simple case of differing tastes I'd say. I think his over the top butchered English is hysterical nine times out of ten. Guy has great delivery.
But yeah, just differing tastes.

He's goofy and it's fun to go into Wal*Mart and talk like him non stop. It entertains me and the girl so it's all around win.
Plus the looks I get when I'm on my random Santino rants while in public is awesome.

Honestly, it's not even his accent or his delivery that I find humorous. It's his physical actions. The act of stealing King's sub was great, the way he went for that saluting headbutt on Cena in that huge handicap match and missed was awesome. I just like his mannerisms; he behaves like a putz, and I find putzes funny.

Who else is there to like? Blandy orton? HHH? Edge? Punk? HBK? HHH and HBK bore me now. Punk'd be awesome if he wasn't the janitor. And i've always hated edge as a person and a wrestler.

I can't see the appeal of Santino either he's just a Heat jobber who gets shoved down our throats.

I thought Santino was funny following his heel turn but now it seems every week I'm just starting to grow tired of him.
On a side note: John Morrison & Miz are pretty awesome but I don't get the appeal of The Dirt Sheet. I find it... really unfunny. The cameos are usually funny but other than that it just doesn't touch my funny bone.

Wait, are we still talking about Santino? Certainly not Angle great, but I think he's very good in doing whats required of him in his role. His absurdly funny selling of an atomic drop is more memorable then most of the spots I've seen this year.

Some have already mentioned the "Different views" point, but let me try and take it a little further. He occasionally reminds me of Latka from "Taxi." A "foreigner" with a poor understanding of the language who makes jokes about it and uses that to make jokes (Not the full extent of the character, but go with me..). Take this quote from the show: *Latka hands Louie a coin* Louie De Palma: What's this? Latka Gravas: It's a kebble. Louie De Palma: What's a kebble? Latka Gravas: 110 kebble make a lithnitch. Louie De Palma: What's a lithnich? Latka Gravas: 270 lithnich make a matta. Louie De Palma: What's a matta? Latka Gravas: I don't know, what's the matter with you? Or Latka: America's a tough town. Tell me that doesn't sound like something Santino would do or say. Now, I'm not saying that they're similar. Latka was played by Andy Kaufman and Santino is no Kaufman. The thing is, Santino's character takes it a more juvenile way (which makes sense because the Raw writing team is behind him) and that can cause it to come off as ridiculous to some. I find him amusing most of the time just because of the attitude he possesses. He walks and talks like he's the baddest man in the company when his record is the absolute opposite. That's amusing to me. I'm easily amused, I know. It makes it easier to have a good time That's my ideas on it.

The way he talks, the stuff he says, the way he carries himself...it's all just very funny to me. Plus I think he's quite good in the ring, whether he's doing the silly stuff, or actually wrestling wrestling.
