HHH and HBK bore me now. Punk'd be awesome if he wasn't the janitor. And i've always hated edge as a person and a wrestler. When did CM Punk become a janitor? It was pretty dumb when WCW did it to Duggan, and I can't imagine it's any better now.

I thought Santino was funny following his heel turn but now it seems every week I'm just starting to grow tired of him. On a side note: John Morrison & Miz are pretty awesome but I don't get the appeal of The Dirt Sheet. I find it... really unfunny. The cameos are usually funny but other than that it just doesn't touch my funny bone. Same here. The one where they are trying to contact Paul Bearer just made me turn it off, because it was so ridiculously unfunny. Santino just seems like a jobber to me, and his rants (while I can see how some might find them comedic) just don't do anything for me, personally. I find him more of an annoying heel than a funny heel.

I think it's based on the love of TV characters who speak English as a second language, like Latka and Balki.

Ok, by annoying heel, I meant "not interesting in any way, get off my tv, think I'll turn the channel" type heel.

He is just funny, what ISN'T funny about him? Him not making me.....laugh? I dunno. It's just different tastes I think. Like there were some people who didn't always find The Rock funny when he was doing his whole 'pie and strudels' schtick.

Wait, are we still talking about Santino? Not great like as in Chris Benoit, but when it comes to current WWE he is one of the best IMO at least top 30.

Some people like their comedy sophisticated. Others like watching people getting kicked in the groin. Santino falls under the all-elusive groin kick demographic.

The WWE seems to rely on foreigners/mentally-challenged/alternative-lifestyles as "funny," and they rarely get it right.
Goldust, Simon Dean, Eugene, Billy & Chuck, Santino, Carlito, Sylvan Grenier, who am I forgetting?
I liked Santino when he was the "new guy from the crowd" that beat Umaga. Suddenly, he's a seasoned veteran challenging Stone Cold, dating Maria and badmouthing Roddy Piper? When did the record skip to that track?
Let's just paint Cody Rhodes gold and give him a man crush on Holly.

He's just so into his character. It's refreshing. He reminds me of Kennedy before he got super-stale. It's such a unique gimmick in a world of cookie-cutter characters.

He's the comedy relief guy.
The funny part is the fact he thinks he's a great wrestler, despite getting his ass kicked left and right.
He's like a stereotyped Italian HonkyTonk Man, without guitar and sideburns.

But how many times has Santino gotten the "upperhand" so to speak in those feuds? By the end Santino is made to look like a bumbling fool, which is the booking intention.

What I like about him is how disillusioned he is: He thinks he's the greatest wrestler alive, but he clearly sucks, but its done in a way so it gets great heat.

Punk'd be awesome if he wasn't the janitor. Doytch? Santino does annoy me at times, but sometimes his promos are hilarious as standalone. Overall, I don't see the appeal either.
