Does Charlie know how a telephone operates? Because by the way he was looking at it last night, methinks the answer is no. ;D
Why did he look so confounded? Also, what happened to his mask?

It was good to see Charlie put his wrestling trunks on for that.

"Hey Charlie, I'm going to let you dial"
*Vince proceeds to dial without hesitation*

Well, he got to make out with Maria, so he can't be too pissed about jobbing to a phone.

Vince: "Hmmm... who can I get to dial the phone.... HEY YOU!"
Charlie: "Yes Mr McMahon?"
Vince: "Hey there... ummm..."
Charlie: "Charlie"
Vince: "Hey there Charlie. I need you to come dial the phone for me."
Charlie: "Yes sir"
Vince: "So, how long have you been working here?"
Charlie: "Ummm.... about 6 years now sir"
Vince: "No kidding... how about that... hey, wait just a minute... didn't you die?"
Charlie: "No. That... that was my twin brother."
Vince: "No. No I'm pretty sure it was you"

Am I the only one that lol'd when Vince said he had a "Special Guest" and it turned out to be Charlie Haas? It was great to Haas get more tv time than he has in just about his whole WWE tenure.

Charlie Haas spent more time on Raw last night helping Vince McMahon give away money than he has been in the ring on Raw over the past year.
This is WWE in a nutshell.

All right, so highlights of the Money Mania:
Vince gets Rick Roll'd...twice. Hey, look! Haas is still on the payroll! That's gotta be the biggest payday he's had since he got that $100 from when the Big Show faced Floyd Mayweather.

Yep, they know not to stick a heat vacuum on television. Thats why they are so successful. Cody Rhodes Bob Holly Snitsky Carlito All 4 of these guys wrestled on Raw last night and the crowd doesn't give a crap about any of them. MAYBE if they have Haas a chance he would be able to do something with it. Besides teaming up with Shelton Benjamin what gimmicks have they given him? - Him and Viscera fight over Lillian Garcia and then in the end they BOTH decide they don't like her and beat her up and become a tag team. This was so stupid you could have put Shawn Michaels in there instead of Haas and the crowd still would not care - He comes out to the Ring as Charlie Haas but then when he gets beat up he puts on a mask and magically becomes someone else and does better. This was so awful that it doesn't even merit discussion. I am not saying Haas is the savior of wrestling or anything, but if they wanted to give him a solid place on the midcard I am sure he would get over better than some other guys and he is obviously better in the ring than a good chunk of the roster. And if WWE is the "smart business" you claim it to be, then why have they had a paid guy on their roster who for over a year has been healthy, willing, and able to wrestle but is NEVER used on tv or even house shows???

I was kinda exaggerating. However...while they do make mistakes to say they don't do a damn good job of running their business would be foolish.

Holly/Rhodes may not be super over, but they're more than Charlie Haas. Plus, they have a student/teacher kind of thing going on, and obviously they think Cody has potential, so they are using him. He does seem like a natural speaker. Snitsky serves his purpose as a hated, credible monster and Carlito is Santino's tag partner and has at least gotten good heat before. Haas appeared plenty on Heat, but he obviously hasn't shown anything they would make them think he would get over more than anyone who's in a spot above him, otherwise he could be in that very same spot.
