...I think Vince should put an "age" limit on wrestlers. Like guys who have main evented for over 2 "eras" (like HBK, HHH, Undertaker) should have to back out of the frontburner and be used to only elevate new guys. New guys should be in the ME scene, and the ratings are so low as it is, that they should be using this time to build up new guys, not try to rehash old guys as quick-fixes. Use this time to build up the new guys who'll bring in a new "boom period". Because like it or not, HHH isn't going to do it. He never did, never will. Just won't be as synonomous as Rock, Hogan or Austin.
I know it won't happen. But I can dream, right?

Ratings are low, but he's making money hand over fist by marketing those old stars with merchandise and dvds and junk.
I figure he might as well milk it in the final years of these top name stars. The Undertaker and Triple H might not be around in 5 years. Guys like Kennedy and Burchill likely will.

Thing is though that the established buys like Trips, HBK, and Taker put asses in the seats. Guys like Kennedy and Burchill don't, yet.

We've got Punk as Money in the Bank (yeah he's been jobbing, but he is in the spotlight), Kennedy had the feud with Regal and is on Raw every week, Burchill's got the feud with Kennedy, Morrison was the star of Money in the Bank and within a year will champ of Smackdown or Raw, MVP (will probably go to Raw in the Draft) and Matt Hardy (they'll pull the trigger in the fall on Matt vs Edge for the World Title) were big parts of Smackdown during their feud, Miz won't make the main event but is being built up for the Intercontinental Title or United States Title, Kofi's one of the main guys in ECW. I think the WWE is prepping the new era of stars, while still having guys like Trips, HBK and Taker.

Right. Let's have upper mid-carders 'main event' against upper mid carders and see how much people care. That'll work.
Meanwhile, HHH and HBK will be randomly feuding Carlito and Snitsky and the crowd will be wondering what the hell is going on.

Guys like Kennedy and Burchill don't, yet. this kind of reasoning has kind of bugged me What if we go to the events to see the undercard? How do you know which wrestlers put the asses in the seats? is it signs? DX glow sticks or inflatable Cena hands? random chanting at appropriate points in promos or matches? if the undercard gets very little exposure than of course their not going to have any of those things, whereas maineventers receive the spotlight throughout the show thus getting more time to get over and put asses in the seats. So by my quirky circular reasoning...you only can put asses in the seats...when you are a main-eventer...and you can only be a main eventer...if you put asses in the seats
