Think about it.
As soon as JR draft comes up on screen JR gets up and moves over to the Smackdown table.
Cole stands up and walks over to the Raw table, THEN it comes up that he's been drafted and his face changes.
It seems genuine when you look at there faces, but they had to know that Cole was switching with JR.

Of course he did. I was shocked that so many smarks let themselves get worked on this one.

Of course it's a work. Especially with the way they've been mentioning all night (and a few days ago as well) how even the announcers can get traded.

Yeah but the Announcers never usually changed even though even they could get traded. Last year they said the same thing even announcers can get traded and nothning really happened.

Of course he knew before hand. My whole thing though is that I really don't think he's happy about it AT ALL.

The notion that JR is for some reason wanting to 'hold down' or 'bury' Michael Cole is ridiculous. He was acting. His on-screen presence had just been moved from the job he had been in for 10 years, he's leaving his long time colleague etc. He would have known, and Cole would have known.

I'm not even sure its that big of a demotion either. By moving JR, Kennedy, Hardy, and Triple H to Smackdown they essentially made it on par with RAW. JR and HHH are on Smackdown to give it instant credibility to say "Its not the B-Show anymore." I would think JR would be happy to be part of that transition.

Of course he knew before hand. My whole thing though is that I really don't think he's happy about it AT ALL. Seriously, he was probably told days ago. I don't think a company that big would drop news on their main play-by-play guy on live television. JR probably mentioned to Vince/the writers that he's been mentioning it on his blog. The idea was likely thrown around for Ross to look upset, shocked, etc. He's a professional. He's seen a lot so I think if he can handle things like the death of Owen Hart on a live PPV and hold control of the show, that THIS of all things wouldn't throw him.
