Well I dunno, I prefer Friday Night timeslot to any others suggested, its the optimal slot for me because the next day is the weekend and I can just relax and enjoy the show. I don't wanna call you out, but you must be either... A. married with a family B. too young to go out C. too old to go out If you are a single guy between 16-30 and would rather stay at home and watch Smackdown on Friday Night than go out and do anything social...well...draw your own conclusions. Oh come on Smackdown is not THAT bad. People like to do different things in their spare time. I prefer to go out on different days...like...THE WEEKEND?! Besides most ppl are too tired on Friday after a whole week.

Not toally true. If their target demo is 18 - 24, then they're in college. Most people don't start doing anything till like 10 on a friday. No one goes to a club, party, or bar at 8.

Ok I hate this make it live crap.
How many people actually read the spoilers?
Maybe 10 thousand at most and how many actually would have watched anyway?

You can't sit there and tell me that making Smackdown a live broadcast won't improve the product greatly. It gives me a reason to watch it now that I don't know what's going to happen! I know for a fact that I'd make more of an effort to stay home on Friday nights (until 10, at least) for Smackdown if I didn't see the spoilers. The hype will be much greater for an un-edited, untaped product than what they have right now. Plus, with the Game-uh and Jeff Hardy now on SD, things are looking up for the brand. I say liven things up a little...pun definitely intended. Ratings will improve.

Would moving it to a different night get rid of Vickie Guerrero? No? Then no, I don't think it'd improve it.

Here in Chicago, if the Cubs, Sox, or Bulls had a game on Friday night, Smackdown would be preempted and shown at 10:30 or so. I have found that time is the best for me, so I can usually catch like the last hour of it. When it is on at 7 here, I always miss it. Haven't seen an edition of it in about seven months.

I would guess with the current roster if Smackdown went live every Tuesday or Thursday Night as opposed to taped and shown on Friday night ratings would go up close to a full point.

I didnt know the target demographic for SD is alcoholics LOL Wrestling fans don't have time for wrestling on fridays, that's time they already have allocated for going out, getting drunk, then coming home and beating their wives before saying their prayers by the wall adorned with the framed Cena poster and the velvet Elvis painting.

I don't like wrestling on Thursdays. Too damn much good stuff on that night.
I watch, CSI, Survivor, Earl, Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs, Smallville, and now Impact too!!! I need things on Tuesday or Wednesday to watch more than Thursday. Hell, Saturday would be a great day as well for wrestling!
