Meh, I tend to disagree with his opinions on matches.. a lot. A quick scan through of this and I can say one of his duds is one of the matches I remember with extreme fondness watching it as a child: Martel/Roberts. agreed. when you can get a whole crowd practically orgasming just by wearing a blindfold and pointing, you know you're doin something right. and yeah, i never agree with meltz in the mouth either.

I never agree with Meltzer, because Meltzer thinks he has a valid opinion.
Anyway, we're at page 2 and no one's mentioned THAT match from WM20

Gimmick Battle Royal featuring: Brother Love, Bushwhackers, Jim Cornette, Doink, Duke Droese, Earthquake, Gobbledy Gooker, Goon, Michael Hayes, Hillbilly Jim, Iron Sheik, Kamala, Kim Chee, One Man Gang, Repo Man, Sgt. Slaughter, Tugboat, Nikolai Volkoff: DUD Trish Stratus vs. Christy Hemme: NOSTALGIA! What?? The battle royal was pure nostalgia. Stratus/Hemme was......well, I don't know what. 4 fine cans? (6 if you count Lita)

I never agree with Meltzer, because Meltzer thinks he has a valid opinion. Anyway, we're at page 2 and no one's mentioned THAT match from WM20 If you're referring to HHH/Benoit/HBK, that match was a classic. If you're not referring to that match, please elaborate, as I have no idea as to what you are referring. Also, Meltzer is, apparently, full of three different kinds of s***.

in my eyes, the qimick battle royal was never meant to be a great mania mach, just some nostalgia (however you spell it)
Truth betold, i only came into wrestling at backlash 99 i beleive, so had no idea at the time who these wrestlers were. However, to e, being a new fan et al, it was a great chance to learn more about the business, without the IWC crapping all over it. Yes it was slow, but hell,it was a load of fun
