he did say thefirst thing he was going to do was get the Name Plate added. and it was about an hour or so, so it's not that annoying.

Hardly annoying. He said he was going to get the nameplate changed first thing and he did. They show some continuity and still people find something to complain about, amazing.

Maybe in kayfabe they have engraving people on staff that travel with them a huge stash of name plates waiting to have inscriptions done to them and the actual insribing of names doesn't take that long. Kayfabe thinking, they wouldn't have to make new name plates, just inscribe the names. I think storyline wise I could go along with that.

Oh he said he was going to change it? Ok, then it's ok. I was fast-forwarding through most of RAW, so I perhaps missed that.

Ok, kayfabe reasoning here...
The man has the MITB title shot. He can cash it in whenever he wants. So they have a nameplate for each belt ready at all times.
That took me 5 seconds to think off.
EDIT: And why would it be that hard to figure they have nameplates for everyone anyway?

I will add that I worked for a company that makes trophies and other things of that nature. Needless to say, it only takes about 5 minutes to make a nameplate like that.

It seriously doesn't take long at all to engrave a thin square piece of metal like the WHC nameplate with the right equipment. A skilled person can knock that out in five minutes. Just go to Things Remembered and ask someone who's worked there for more than three months.

It doesn't take a long time to engrave things. Espically something tiny like a name plate and only adding six letters and a space.
EDIT: Damn you beat me to it The MaDaBa & His Semicolon
