It seems as if this martial law storyline could definitely take the company through SummerSlam. Without going into an overly detailed analysis, here's how I'd do it:
Allign JBL with DiBiase and Rhodes. Say that they want to learn from a real champion, a billionaire, etc. etc.
Cena would then remain with Cryme Tyme.
From there, let Cena and Cryme Tyme have a few matches with JBL, Rhodes and Holly; with CM Punk being in the middle of all of it, acting as the loner of sorts of RAW.
Jericho and Cade are together, heck, lets put HBK and London together, since London's now alone and doesn't have much to do. If they can try to get Cade over, why not London.
Kane, Batista and some of the others can easily act as loners as well, gunning for Punk while loaning out their services to some of the other alliances developed in the WWE.
Keep Mysterio and Marella at each others throats for now, it gives Mysterio something to do in the meantime.
Martial law=only the strongest survive, and that means alliances have to be formed (and broken.)
This could be one of the strongest summers in WWE history. The reason RAW was so good tonight was storylines meshed together, things were tied together, and the shocking win of CM Punk.

God, here's hoping. If the ratings spike for the show, we may be in business. This week's rating isn't really the one to watch. It's next week's. Will people hearing about what happened this week cause more to tune in? I'm not taking any stock in this week's. It's the next 3-4 that will tell the story. Yeah, but I'm sure WWE is also hoping for a ratings bump from the draft last week and the PPV last night. First RAW with the new rosters in place.

Honestly, a lot of the big name players that made the Raw BRAND aren't there anymore. Starting with tonights Raw, you could say that it's been rebranded and a new identity created for it.
The booking on the show was phenominal, because it showcased every single part of the card, and had many overlapping fueds, and set up many possible fueds.
This is a GIGANTIC step in the right direction.

Has Cena ever teamed with Cryme Time before? If not then I must of thought of it. In fact I think I even made a post about it a couple months ago when Cryme Time came back.
I hope they keep Cena and Cryme Time in an alliance. They seem to fit together very very well and they are all very over with the live crowds.

RUN with it WWE. I'm loving this. I legitametely for the first time in ages had an interest in the main event and NO idea what was gonna happen. Keep it going for a few weeks, let something fresh happen, hell give away something BIG every week and get people talking.

I really can't remember there being a Raw this good in, well....saying "the Attitude era" is almost too easily written off as hyperbole, but I don't think it's entirely out of line.
And it wasn't JUST the fact that Punk won the World Title. There's no denying that this week's opening segment, from JR's farewell, to Edge being in top prickish form, to Batista doing what Batista does best (be violent and pissed off), to Punk's "there's no way they're actually going to do this" incredible MitB victory, was enough to make pretty much any week memorable. But, the sheer quality and diversity of what came afterwords was just amazing.
The entire show essentially said "This is our roster, this is who they are, this is what they do". Everybody, from the top guys to the midcarders, was given time to showcase themselves and, in turn, make you want to see more. If you hadn't seen Raw in years, this week pretty much got you up to speed on who's who and what's what on the brand, and managed to do it without feeling contrived or overloaded. The new guys were seamlessly meshed into the roster, the old guys were given new directions and feuds, and the title picture is about as strong on the show as it's been in years. John Cena, CM Punk, JBL, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, even Rey Mysterio are all credible WHC contenders. They've got enough top names and fresh potential feuds in that mix to last the rest of the year, at least. Plus, you've got mid card guys effectively tied into major storylines (Cryme Tyme, Lance Cade, Jamie Noble, Rhodes and Dibiase, Kingston), helping to elevate the new generation and keep things fresh.
Really, everything about this show was what we've been begging for incessantly for years now. If they keep up this pace next week, we really could be looking at a major resurgence.

I may not have seen it, but if they're finally done having "boss" or "GM" type characters on Raw, then good for them. It's something they should've done ages ago.

Hopefully this does mean the end of GMs/CEOs/Sherrifs/ Grand Poobahs or whatever the hell for a long time at least on RAW. It's time for a new direction one that doesn't involve Vince McMahon and his wretched family or other corporate cronies constantly sticking their two cents in.

I hope they let it RAW keep going into the anarchy direction for some time and then birng in a new type of authority figure.
Here is what I would do.
First let the Anarchy continue through the summer.
Then have Sgt. Slaughter come back as commisioner. I know they did that years ago but I really liked it and it would make sense for him to come in and try to take comand of RAW.
Or
Have Regal come back as a non wrestler and take back over RAW with an iron fist in the King gimmick.
Or
Have Ted DiBiase come back as a heel and buy his way into the position and help guys like his son and JBL.

Didn't someone say in this site we all should have an anarchy storyline on Raw few weeks earlier? (WWE is spying on us) But seriously this is the first time in a long long long time I'm finally excited about watching Raw and Smackdown every week and just can't wait what happens next!

The idea of anarchy vs. martial law and all these alliances is a fantastic idea.

Would be a good change if Raw was dominated by factions.
$$$ faction: JBL, Rhodes, Dibiase, Orton Chain Gang: Cena, Kryme Time Conspiracy Victims: Cade, Jericho, Noble, Santino, Striker Generic Tough Guy Faction: Palumbo, Deuce, Snitsky, Val Venis Rising Stars faction: Burchill, Katie Lea, Kofi, Haas
Lone Wolves: (not in any faction): Punk, Batista, HBK

It's what I've been saying for ages. They connect wrestlers with one another now. It makes it so much more easier for storyline development, and means they will be unpredictable. Segments flow, and wrestlers can progress from one feud to the other without having some stupidly forced reason with no build up...because the build up has actually happened in the previous feud, making the current one seem seemless.
I knew JBL would declare himself the 'leader' of Raw, but I still think Regal was gaining too much heat to have them drop his character completely...and the reason he was getting so much heat was because hew as GM, so I'm not sure if they'll drop it. Infact I can see Vince or someone returning, asking what the hell is going on, and saying the last time Raw had any order was when Regal was in charge, so he reinstates him. Something like that anyway.

You're all missing the best possible outcome, every week Santino tries to take over but he fails in a variety of hilarious ways.
