Not sure what the point in making him a huge hoss was really. The original Michael, whilst not a giant, was definitely a tall and intimidating figure enough as it was.
Plus, size wasn't what made him scary. It was all about the mask and the fact that he had no emotion whatsoever. Way to miss the point, Zombie.

Anyways, to get back on topic, I know a LOT of folks were outraged over the way that Rob turned Michael from this....phantom....this.....boogeyman type character, into just another poor, misunderstood, abused/neglected kid who is the way he is because Mommy and Daddy didn't love him enough. Like i mentioned earlier, I LIKED that. This wasn't going to be the original, so he was giving us soemthing more. I just wish that tone had been kept up over the course of the movie.

I didn't like it.
I'm not sure I could really add anything new to the conversation.
My dislike from the movie doesn't come from the fact that it was a remake. I attempt to look at those as new movies with similar plots (which is usually what they end up being anyway) but just from the fact that I did not enjoy the layout and presentation of the film.

I am a big fan of the original, and I have to say that I liked the first half of the Rob Zombie version.
The second half felt rushed, more of a compressed version of the original, with less sympathetic characters that I really didn't care about.
