This past Monday's Raw got a 3.2 rating. This is a downfall from the 3.5 ratings they've received in the last couple of weeks. All right let the excuses start: Home Run Derby Punk as Champ = Lower Ratings It's Summer

This past Monday's Raw got a 3.2 rating. This is a downfall from the 3.5 ratings they've received in the last couple of weeks. All right let the excuses start: Home Run Derby Punk as Champ = Lower Ratings It's Summer Since Josh Hamilton hit 28 HR in the first round I'd say many would have a reason to watch the Home Run Derby over Raw. The Home Run Derby was a legitimate reason and can easily explain .3 rating point difference.

Even though TV ratings are down, I'd bet internet streaming viewing ratings (if they exist) are WAY up cos of Punk.

Quite honestly, those expecting 4s and 5s just because Indy God CM Punk is champion were kinda dreaming...
Wrestling's fanbase can only grant a solid 3.x, maybe a low 4 every once in a while when something major happens, but without the mainstream casual fans, forget about higher ratings.
And I seriously hope the JBL runs Cena over cliffhanger won't draw in a single person next week
