An amazingly unbiased opinion, I'm sure Only as biased as those who are letting their markdom of Punk blind them to the crap booking that was this win...

A lot of Smarks are eating their own words tonight. Of course, they will simply move their bitching about CM Punk being buried to something else. I am still in full mark-out mode btw...

An amazingly unbiased opinion, I'm sure Lol, considering that just he seems to hate Punk with a passion from his posts, I imagine he wasn't marking out.

I don't see how it was crap booking, you make it sound as if it's fact. Edge screwed Punk out of the ECW title and I believe in one of the rematches as well, so he got even with him. The whole competition thing goes out the window. Seems rather simple to me, but as said before everyone is entitled to their opinion.

All I have to say about this angle is this:
I'm 39 years old and have been watching wrestling since 1986 -- and I can't remember the last time I marked-out like I did 20 minutes ago!
Good job, WWE!

I just thought of something--CM Punk is going to get new and awful theme music soon. And then a story about him getting the new music and entrance because he has heat will come out.

I thought the whole point of being whiteheat babyface was to be better than the heels, not on their, "do anything to achieve my goals level." That's why the booking was crap.

An amazingly unbiased opinion, I'm sure Lol, considering that just he seems to hate Punk with a passion from his posts, I imagine he wasn't marking out. Like I said in the Raw thread. I hate punk. But with Edge showing up on Raw, Batista giving him a beat down it only made sense for punk to do that.

An amazingly unbiased opinion, I'm sure Come on Ace, Punk is to me what Morrison is to you. Only one of them didn't reinvent himself by changing his last name and nothing else Like I said, I'm just being playful because I knew over everyone else this would be the rough equivalent of someone taking a dump in your cereal. Nothing really serious meant by it.

Where does that rank in the shortest WWE Title match rankings? 3rd, after Nash/Backlund and Hogan/Yoko?

I think those days have long gone where the face won't do anything that the heel will do as over the years faces such as Rock, Austin, Cena have done heelish things and still get a pop. Punk made it known that he would cash it in to Edge when he least expected it. He trumped the "Ultimate Oppportunist" by giving him a dose of his own medicine. As I said, if you felt it was crap booking, that's your perogative and you are more than entitled to think so, I just disagree with it.
