I was looking for some WWE videos on YouTube and found some nWo intros featuring current WWE stars. Like an Orton or Cena entrance with nWo music.
So it got me thinking, what if some of the current guys on the roster were to bring back the black and white. No Hogan, no Nash, no Hall, no X-Pac. Hell, no Big Show either cause he was once a member.
I think Orton would have fit into the original nWo like a glove. Would have been the cocky heel they needed. Plus, if there were to be a Hogan-like turn now...the "Hogan" would have to be Cena.
So if you were to pick 3-5 guys to make nWo 2008, who would they be? Remember, no former nWo guys (that includes Big Show, HBK, and Ted Dibiase Sr.)
Here's who I'd use:
- John Cena (Hogan) - Randy Orton (Hall) - MVP (Nash) - Evan Bourne (Syxx)

Orton was halfway there I suppose with his RKO black/white and then the black/red T-shirts he had in 2005.
Honestly, I'd leave well enough alone. Bringing it back would only cause people to compare it to the original and their 28347 incarnations.

well if this did happen they'd have to call it something else Agreed 100% That said I think doing something with guys presently outside the company would be needed. Altough nothing existing today could have that kind of impact in the WWE as the old nWo here are my pics. -Christian -Samoa Joe -Brock Lesner and I'd stay away from having a heel turn like Hogan and go with Orton as my inside guy

If by nWo you mean importing major stars from a rival promotion with a top heel turn and running a strong heel angle until their defeat at the hands of the heroes. Yeah that could work. But if it's just another attempt to sell T-shirts, then no. The problem is that no rival promotion exists with stars at the level of Nash and Hall.

I looked and couldn't find anything relating Cena or Orton to the nWo music. Only think I have is a link to a video I found a long time ago where Rated RKO first hooked up and someone speculated what a Orton/Edge nWo would be like and made a nWo titantron for them.

How about a stable where Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Edge, and CM Punk beat the crap out of everyone.

It would't go over. Re hashed stables or teams haven't ever worked in wrestling. It would look like a desperate attempt .

True but the Horseman always had Flair and Arn. He was talking NWO with new ppl. Which made me think more in the lines of the New Midnight Express.
