The ultimate case of irony was when they used The Hives "Walk Idiot Walk" for Christy Hemme.

Wasn't "Walk Idiot Walk" also the theme song of the first Diva Search? That made me laugh.
MVP's is by Slikk the Shocker. Mark Henry's Wig-Splitting song is by Academy Award-winning Three 6 Mafia. Maria's is by Zebrahead.

I think THINK A7X do randy's new theme Even though it's already been mentioned, it's not them. It's Rev Theory. Though, I can kinda understand why you'd think it was A7X.

Koko B Ware used "The Bird" by Morris Day and the Time. And of course, Real American and Demolition's theme were by Rick Derringer

We've definitely seen a shift from production type music to working with real artists for the themes, although Jim Johnston (he will be missed) and the music department work heavily with these artists to work out the music.

Has it been confirmed anywhere that Johnston has left or will be leaving? I've read stuff on this board but have never seen it confirmed anywhere.

I can't cite the source & it may be untrue, but I read that Johnston and another important person (don't remember his name) were both leaving the company. Even if the report was true, it's possible that he could change his mind or WWE could make him an offer he can't refuse.

Our Lady Peace did Benoit's Theme Breaking Point did Rob Van Dam's Disturbed did Steve Austin's theme one time Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile was used for Hogan back in 2002-2003 Voodoo Chile shouldn't count in this. All the others mentioned were created specifically as Wrestler themes. You think Jimi Hendrix was sitting around thinking "25 years from now some guy named Hogan is going to come out to this song" ?
