I just went to Shane Douglas' Wikipedia page and noticed something.
He also appeared at a World Wrestling Entertainment house show under the name Troy Douglas in a squash match against Vladimir Kozlov and is under consideration to be resigned.
Is this true? If so, when did this happen?

I'd much rather wait until a more credible news source reports this than the ever-not-so-reliable Wikipedia.

Must've been another Douglas.

Must've been another Douglas. Especially since how Shane was held down in WWE, I don't think Shane would ever want to go back.

Not believing it. No source, poorly linked, and overall, probably just some person who added it in without checking (and referencing) the source first if there is one.

Read this the other day on his Wikipedia page, but wasn't sure what to think of it. I'm not sure if the Franchise would even be looked at by the WWE, as his past isn't what they need at this time. Still, if it is true, it's good to see him back wrestling.

I know there was talk of him going with the Revolution but I'm pretty certain he stayed in WCW of his own choice. There were a lot more guys planning to jump as well, I think Kidman and Konan were involved also, but some decided to stay.

Macho has more chance having another run with WWE than Shane does.

With Douglas, IIRC, he considered jumping, but thought that he had burned his bridges too much and didn't want to chance not having a job with either of the big two companies. Can't remember what happened with Kidman and Konnan exactly. It was either that they couldn't get out of their contracts, or thought of jumping, but then just didn't decide to go. I think Foley might reference it in one of his books, when he talks about Benoit, Saturn, Malenko and Guerrero jumping.

Reportedly, Shane really wanted to go to WWF back when his stable mates Benoit, Malenko, and Saturn were leaving WCW along with Eddie Guerrero. This was back when WCW gave all wrestlers the chance to get out of their contracts. Douglas was hoping to work as a group with the other wrestlers I mentioned to go to WWF. Reportedly, WWE didn't want Douglas but greatly wanted the other four. Realizing WWF didn't want to hire him, he stayed in WCW. Moreover, it may not be that Douglas refused to go back to WWE, but that WWE doesn't want him.

He figured he had burned his bridges because of the Max Moon thing. Kidman....I have no clue, I guess he just didn't wanna leave. Or figured that he actually had it pretty well in the slowly dying WCW, all things considered.

Kidman didn't leave WCW cause WCW promised him a raise on his pay, Kidman would've actually jumped had he not taken the pay raise.
Well, I don't think this news has any merit to it, but it would be strange to hear "You just got your ass franchised!" on WWE TV in the first place.
