Batista and Cena winning the tag belts, why!? I understood it when in the late 90s when the WWE truely didn't have enough tag teams and needed the superstar teams to keep the belt alive, but this is ridiculous. I mean this is like in 1988 if Hogan and Savage beat Demolition for the belts, it is pointless. Priceless was a great team and they were building a good fued with Cryme Tyme for the title. This is the dumbest idea ever, I am sick of the superstar tag teams, and people wonder why the 80s was such a great time for tag teams. Because great tag teams would become tag champs and the tag titles actually meant something! Being in a tag team actually meant something, and I thought the WWE was going back to that, whoopsie I was being a mark. Dusty Rhoades and Magnum TA never beat the Russians for the title in two weeks after winning it. I know it has been over a month for Pricele$$, I just think they are a great team and this was dumb.

This is what I find funny about people that try to compare the 80's to today in regards to tag teams. The reason tag teams hardly work in WWE today is all ego. Guys want to be on there own and don't want to have to saddle with some other guy. It will never be like the 80's again, Too many egos.

WWE treating tag teams poorly? Familiar refrain, no?
Not bashing WWE here (everyone's allowed to have their favorites), but something I always loved in ROH is that its very rare that "superstar teams", unless they've been teaming for a long time, very rarely overcome established teams. It's not like it never happens, but the match psychology always clearly shows that the "superstar team" has a hard time overcoming the cohesion of the established team.
