Bane sucks, though I only seen him in Batman Forever(or was it Batman And Robin?) It was Batman and Robin. And for the record, Bane was raped by that movie. Completely raped. Bane was not just a retarded musclehead. He was actually a calculating crime lord. (when not drugged up on Venom) BANE SMASH! And to those who said "Yeah, he got Batman, but he had to throw every other villain in Arkham at him first"....... WELL DUH!This is what makes Bane smart. He knows Bats could still prolly take him, if Bats is at 100% and well rested....so, he hits Batman right when he's at his most tired, his weakest moment....and he cripples the Bat. This is called PLANNING. Scheming, if you will.

I think a combo of Riddler, who I would portray as kind of an anti-Joker, really and Killer Croc would work. Instead of being kind of dingy and nasty, with a bunch of lunatic gang members as henchmen, I think Riddler should be more suave and classy, with beautiful women in the vein of old assistants Query and Echo. In my idea, Riddler's the only person that really knows of the existence of Croc, a former circus freak living by himself in the Gotham sewers, clearly insane and probably responsible for more than a few disappearances, and eventually Riddler manages to trick Batman down to the sewers with a few misleading riddles, leading to a great big battle beneath Gotham with those two(Maybe Croc dies, maybe he doesn't, I dunno). I don't have any ideas other than those, though.

I voted for Harley and Ivy, cause if they're in the movie you don't even NEED Batman..... Delicious. Same here. Plus there's lots of good actresses I could see playing those.

Can Alyson Hannigan act dark?
If so she would make a great Poison Ivy.

Ok, question for the people voting for Harley.
How the hell would her character work without Joker? They couldn't just introduce her with Poison Ivy for no reason. Plus, theres a lot more deserving stand alone villians that should be in movies.
I voted Riddler, Give him a Zodiac killer/Saw edge and you got something.

I saw someone have the idea for Riddler like this;
Since now Batman is an outlaw, the city hires Riddler since he seems to be the only guy who can match wits with Batman, so he is hired as senior private investigator. Being as it may, Batman has had to tone down fighting crime because of all the publicity surrounding his "actions" from the last movie. Due to this, the crime rate increases due to a new crime lord; Penguin. Riddler himself has a bit of a dark side as he believes to be infallible, he starts committing crimes and allowing for Batman to take the fall for them. He also takes payoffs from Penguin, who is secretly prepping an all out artillery war on Gotham. Batman, once again HAS TO become the hero and prove to Gotham that he is in fact innocent and the only way to do this is to take down Riddler before things get too messy.

I honestly don't care to see Harley on film ever. She worked in small doses for a children's cartoon show (which I loved, aside from her ubiquity), but in all honesty, she's a quirky pin-up model in a room full of actual lunatics. How the hell does that make any logical sense? I would expect any of the rogues to whack her within minutes of her appearance.

Got this from Wiki...take it for what you will;
Nolan is not committed to another sequel, explaining that he does not normally line up projects after completing a film. Gary Oldman is confident Nolan will return,[25] and Bale said he would return if Nolan did.[26] Oldman hinted in the third film Gordon would have to hunt down Batman.[27] He has also mentioned that the villain of the upcoming film may be The Riddler. [28] Nolan explained that as long as he is directing, he is not including Robin in the franchise because Bale is portraying a "young Batman", which meant "Robin's not for a few films". Nolan jokingly listed Frankie Muniz as a potential choice, if the studio forced him to cast.[29] Bale joked "I'll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work" if Robin is introduced.[30]
In addition, Nolan considered the Penguin difficult to portray on film, explaining, "There are certain characters that are easier to mesh with the more real take on Batman we're doing. The Penguin would be tricky."[31] Christina Ricci, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Kate Beckinsale have shown interest in playing Catwoman,[32][33] while David Tennant wishes to play the Riddler.[34] Prior to the release of The Dark Knight in 2008, David Goyer ruled out using the Penguin or Catwoman as a villain in a future film, prefering to use antagonists from the comic that had not yet been portrayed on the big screen

You could drop 10 nukes on somebody and they could come back for a sequel.

Especially a COMIC book movie. how many times in the Marvel universe has Doom died and stupid Richards wipes his hands and says "That's the last we'll see of him" In comic book land, death is fleeting, unless you're Jason Todd. Maybe.

Maybe. Is there anyone in comics that HASN'T come back? It's like this flash video about X-Men I saw on Newgrounds a few years back. They had to kill Phoenix (yes, AGAIN...) and at the very end, Cyclops just laser'd her. Somebody was like "I'm sorry you had to do that, Scott." and he just responds "Eh, who are you kidding? She'll be back again before the next movie comes out." Sure...for once she actually HASN'T come back......but it's just a matter of time.
