Any fans?
It's considered one of the worst of the franchise but it's easily my favorite alongside TNG.
I finally finished the series run today after watching a lot this summer. And especially the last weekend as I was anxious to see how it ended. It was a fantastic last episode but ended too abruptly for my taste. They arrived home and that was it, all we got was a ten year later possible future.
I've had a lot of fun watching though it became the Seven of Nine show a little too much for my taste. Great actress to be sure but there was a little too much at times.
Now I can finally get around to delving into Deep Space Nine.

I really like it.
A while back I used to ONLY like TNG, but I got the flu for a week or two a year or two ago and sat around the house watching VOY and DS9 all day and night on Spike and G4. It really grew on me and now I love all the TNG-era Star Treks.

Voyager isn't my favorite Star Trek, but at least it's better than Enterprise. The Doctor is a great character and would probably be in my top 10 or even 5 favorite Star Trek characters.
I hope you like DS9, it's my favorite Star Trek series.

What I did enjoy immensely were some of the newer characters/races, such as the Vidians (the diseased aliens who steal peoples' organs) and the Hirogen. I also enjoyed some of the cliffhangers like the "Year of Hell" 2-parter where they fight off the Kremin. They did start off strong with introducing the Borg as well. Now, here's what I had an issue with: They absolutely raped the Borg of all of their frightening characteristics and nigh-invulnerability. Sure, it makes for plot progression, but by the end of the series, they had invented nearly 100 ways to bypass, detect, and stop anything Borg-related. Also, when 4 of your 7 senior officers are assimilated and returned to human status, that just makes the whole assimilation bit about as tame as Hello Kitty. Also, Seven of Nine was not a suitable replacement for Kes. Those're my thoughts on it. But overall, it was a decent show.

I really like Voyager. It may actually be my favorite just because watching it I find more relaxing and pleasurable overall. I may be alone in this but I think it had a lot of the elements of the original.

I didnt like voyager at first. it seemed too corny to me, but once it started airing on spike, I gave it a chance, and started liking it. out of tng, ds9, and voy, voyager is my least favorite, but still enjoyable. at times voyager seems like tng jr though, and recycled a few of thier stories in a non obvious manner. ds9 gets real good during the dominion war. its up there with tng. I never gave enterprise a real chance though, but I still consider it trash.

I liked it, but I had some problems with the show overall. One thing that did bother me was the last season.
SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish in the last season they had gotten home halfway through the season or at least when they had 5 or 6 episodes left. I would have loved to have seen what happened when they got home. I know Janeway became an Admiral, but what about the rest of them?

Of the three next gen series, I liked this one second least. See, I look at DS9 as two series: the series before the Dominion, and the series after, because it really started getting good around Season 3. So, on my ratings of the next gens, it goes like this:
1. DS9 after meeting the Dominion. 2. TNG 3. Voyager 4. DS9 before meeting the Dominion.

UPN was my favorite network when Voyager and Smackdown! were on the same schedule.

I dug Voyager. I marked out hard for The Rock's cameo. To be fair, I also liked Enterprise, especially the last few episodes (when they started to shrug off that dumbs*** Rick Berman) which were GREAT.
DS9 rocked my socks though.

Also, Seven of Nine was not a suitable replacement for Kes. Agreed.

It had it's moments, but is still behind TNG and DS9.
The Doctor carried that show.

Why was it on Voyager that every thing about the Borg changed episode to episode. I'm pretty sure the beings that the Enterprise first encountered with Q way back when were not the Borg but some sub-set that mildly resembled the Borg seen in the last few episodes of Voyager, they had changed that much.

I liked it. Never really got into DS9 because of all that emmissary crap. Couldn`t be bothered with that at all.
Really liked TNG however, and Voyager got really quite good once it got going. Can`t watch episodes from the 1st couple of series though.

Voyager turned me off of Star Trek almost completely. I used to be a big fan until that unbearable tripe came along. I wanted to slap that annoying bitch Janeway in the mouth so badly.
"This crew is like a famileh, and I don't want to brek up mah famileh."

Voyager has aged well, but it was never that good to began with. I defer to the Ronald Moore various critiques of the series, which can be summed up as the show started with a great idea, was never able to follow through on it and eventually gave up and became half baked TNG.

One of the things that bugged me about Voyager was how after 7 years the ship and crew always looked "Federation fresh" like they had just been to a Starbase the other day, no matter how many battles they were in.

Like all the other Treks, it had its ups and downs. Mostly ups. Some of the writing got lackluster later in the series, but that was mainly because they were focused on getting "Enterprise" launched. Good luck on DS9, its one of the best as far as superior writing and great arcs.

How Voyager lost me.
Janeway: We have to get down to the surface of this planet. Tuvak: Transporters can't get through the magnetic interference. Paris: I'll take a shuttle down. Tuvak: A shuttle can't get through the magnetic interference either. Janeway: Mister Paris, let's risk the life of everyone aboard and land the whole damn ship. Paris: Okey-dokey Captain.
And so they ease a freaking starship down through the atmosphere, whereupon three spindly legs come squicking out of the bottom of the ship and it settles gracefully to the ground.
Are you freaking kidding me?

One of the things that bugged me about Voyager was how after 7 years the ship and crew always looked "Federation fresh" like they had just been to a Starbase the other day, no matter how many battles they were in. Stock footage. They never ran out of shuttles, never ran out of photon torpedoes, never ran out of Warp Cores. Heck, they supposedly sunk a whole lot of the ships supplies into building the Delta Flyer, and they had a new one within a week after the first one got destroyed by the Borg.
