So, I needed to reserve a hotel room for my next ROH excursion next month in Philadelphia. Their "Name Your Own Price" feature has saved me a lot of money over the past year, and I've gotten a lot in return (a **1/2 room for $45 is what we in the biz refer to as a "steal"). Since the venue for this one show has changed (from the National Guard to the New Alhambra), I needed to pick a different area in the city to stay. So, I decided to gamble and put a $60 bid in for a *** room.
I got the Marriott Philadelphia Airport hotel, complete with $17 parking fee (plus tax), complete with no option to cancel the reservation.
We in the biz call that "karma".

OK, how is this Priceline shafting you? Their Name Your Own Price option is pretty clear. You opted to use it, they gave you the best deal or rather a hotel who was willing to accept this deal. This service is very restrictive and they give the rules quite clearly. And considering you got this for pretty much half the regular price I'd stop complaining.
