Man, it's been decades since I read any of them, but I remember loving her stuff when I was in elementary school. Socks and the Ramona stuff stands out in my head as stuff I really liked back then.

Wow, that name brings back memories of childhood. Ramona and her sister Beatrice, whose name she couldn't pronounce so she called her "Beezus".
The one book that sticks out for me is when Ramona brought her dolly named "Chevrolet" to show and tell. and Ramona kept making "boooiiiinnnnggg" noises when she'd pull a classmate's curls (which *I* still do to this day).

Which one had Ramona in a Halloween pageant at the beginning? I voted for "Ramona Quimby, Age Eight" because I think that's the one.

I love all of her books. The Ralph S. Mouse books are particurlarly close to my heart... Mouse and the Motorcycle being top... but Dear Mr. Henshaw is way up there too. Such a great writer.

Don't think I've read anything by her, though strangely the name sounds VERY familiar.

Otis Spofford.
It got me into trouble though, because I did some of the stuff the kid did in the book. D'oh!

The Mouse And The Motorcycle.
Loved the book, as well as the movie, and the original novel is in my book shelf as I type this.
