Aw dang it. I was all excited that I was going to get to see him wrestling in places I actually like now. Stupid smurfing Russo angles. Why do you come to the TNA board and post? Just curious. You don't like TNA, so why post here? Oh and it's a work. Super duh.

He'll defend Karen from Tomko or something and have a feud, should be good.

he can take Rellik's old gimmick but along with the paint on his face, he can have a late 80s blonde surfer cut and a big ass cell phone. his name of course would be Zak and after winning the X-Division he'll only wrestle in time limit draws so his title will always be saved by the bell Moreover, he'll have that damn uncanny ability to freeze time to wail on his foes.

If this is true, then I called it last week.
And who thought it would be a good idea for Karen Angle to have a talk segment? Don't we hear enough of her shrill whining every week?

I don't know whether to believe it or not, this is the same guy who wouldn't cut his hair to keep a WWE contract.

I don't know whether to believe it or not, this is the same guy who wouldn't cut his hair to keep a WWE contract. I gotta agree here. Given Kaz's past, it's perfectly logical to think that he's gone for real, but with the apparent planned angle around him, I have to think we're getting worked, too.

I hate to completely be "this guy" here, but there would be no reason to put him on TV to discuss his leaving if he was actually leaving. And again, this is Russoland we're talking about.

How exactly is this a work shoot and not just a regular angle? What is everyone so damn pissy about Russo and his supposes involvement?

How exactly is this a work shoot and not just a regular angle? What is everyone so damn pissy about Russo and his supposes involvement? Well one they already did this crap with Christopher Daniels in his whole "I wanna move beyond the X-Division and by that I mean I want to reform xXx" well ok that was a bit different but the POINT is these things rarely work out well from a standpoint as far as TNA's track record is concerned. Also I think some people honestly thought Kaz was leaving TNA and now feel a bit irked that it just turns out to be another angle. Cause let's be honest here, Kaz hasn't exactly been used that well, or at least one could make a decent claim that he hasn't.

TNA announces release of Kaz TNA announced the release of Frankie Kazarian, known now in the company as Kaz, on their website. “TNAwrestling.com has learned that Kaz will leave Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. Kaz requested his release on Monday morning. Before departing TNA, Kaz has agreed to fulfill his upcoming TNA Live Event obligations,” read a statement on the tnawrestling.com. “Kaz will appear on the premiere episode of the new "Karen's Angle" interview segment this Thursday night on "iMPACT!" to comment on his departure and his reasons for doing so. TNA Wrestling wishes Kaz all the best in his future endeavors.” Kaz has been in a main event position as of late in TNA, as team captain for Team TNA in the World X-Cup, competing in the Ultimate X match at the last TNA pay-per-view Bound for Glory on July 13th. Kaz defeated Christian Cage at a ladder match at Sacrifice 2007 and narrowly lost to then-TNA champion Kurt Angle. He replaced Kurt Angle in a three-way main event against Scott Steiner and TNA champion Samoa Joe at Sacrifice on May 11th and challenged Joe again for the belt on the June 12th edition of Impact. Kazarian first joined TNA in the summer of 2003 as one of the X-division’s top stars. He requested his release from the company on February 15th, 2005 and signed with WWE. He was undefeated in the company, but only wrestled on Velocity, and requested his release from there on August 15th of the same year. He returned to TNA at Victory Road 2006 Source: slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Wrestling/2008/07/21/6224991.html

If this leads to Kaz deciding against quitting as he has now found a purpose in TNA after saving Karen from Tomko and instead joining the Prince Justice Task Force thingy I'm gonna put a hit out on Vince Russo.

Indeed, less Karen more X-Division I say. Agreed, agreed, agreed. Dump Karen (and Sharmell), and focus on the wrestling. So Kaz asked for his release from TNA in 2005, moved over to WWE and then later asked for a release, and has now apparently asked for a release from TNA again. Whether this last release request is an angle or not, all of these requested releases can't be doing much to get promoters to gain confidence in his staying power.

What is everyone so damn pissy about Russo and his supposes involvement? Some people won't admit that this could be an interesting storyline, and they are just upset that WWE didn't do it first.

Some might argue, myself included, that the WWE didn't think of this storyline first because it's just stupid.
