Seems like most of the really good and really known guys have moved on to the "the big leagues" like AJ and Joe, or are now tag teams, Shelly and Sabin, or don't even seem to care about the X-Belt as they're in personal feuds, Lethal and company.
Is this more or less accurate? The X-Division used to be the thing that stood out in TNA, now it's just sort of there, sure they did do the X-Cup just now, but all it seemed to do was push a strange Kaz angle and not really put over the Division itself.
So basically I'm calling for new blood to spice it up a bit, I suppose Divari is a step in this direction, is there any other free agents out there that could add to that?

I'd agree with you on that. Currently it's only being used as aplce to dump off comedy jobbers like Shark boy and Eric Young. Back in teh day it was what made TNA. The reason for this was because it focused on the skills and talents of guys like AJ Styles, Amazing Red, and Christopher Daniels not on hokey comedy acts and long overdone parody gimmicks.

What happened to Alex Koslov? I liked the kick thing he did with the fur cap on.

Creed Jay Lethal Sonjay Dutt Petey Williams Sheik Abdul
and to a lesser extent Curry Man and Kaz if he ever finds himself
Yeah - that is a little light to me. I mean the knockouts have that many contenders for the title.
I think if Shelly and Sabin also did some more X-Division moonlighting and Rave was used as a singles competitor that would probably be enough for a not-over-booked division. That'd be like ten guys which is really enough when you think about it.
I really think they need to use the guys they have now a little better is all. I think MCMG and Rave can still tag and vie for the X-Division title, but if not then they could stand to add a couple more guys. My vote is for Chuck Taylor

Honestly, I think the Knockouts division is overtaking the X-Division.
In the past the thing in TNA that really stood out and got people talking was the X-Division. Now though, it's the women's division that stands out and has people talking. And as a result, the X-Division is kinda getting forgotten about. I agree that the X-Division seems to no longer be as much about "no limits", and now it's about who has the zanier gimmick. Which is unfortunate, because I still think the X-Division guys are some of the best wrestlers/entertainers in North America. I still stand by my statement a few months ago that Christopher Daniels could/should be main eventing TNA right now (which can never happen as Curry Man, funny as he may be in that role).

The X-Division really needs new people. As great as the current guys in the X-Division are now, they've been around for a while. Glad to see people like Creed, Daivari, and Koslov (if he actually joins) being added. If there's one person I would LOVE to see join, it'd be Human Tornado.

Yes Sheik Abdul and Creed are steps in the right direction. TNA needs an x divison star with an edge about them. The man they need to make it important again is Mistico. I think TNA should have internatonal stars come and wrestle for the title like WCW did. Kota Ishbl, Turbo, Huma Tua, and Pac are all guys that can help bring back interest.

Doug Williams for X Division Champion! Don't know how serious or sarcastic that was, but I've actually got to agree to some extent. Williams, along with Koslov and Daivari, acquitted himself admirably in "Team Crude National Stereotype" and ought to be given a proper go. Oh, and seriously, does anyone know why Christopher Daniels is wearing a vindaloo on his head and doing poorly-scripted sketches with EY, when he could be busy being one of the most entertaining charismatic heels in the company? Whose idea was that?

The X division desparately needs new people. TNA seriously neds to raid ROH and take their 4-6 best wrestlers (whoever they are) and put them in the X Division.

Thing about it is, when the X-Division was SOMETHING, there were hardly any gimmicks. It just seemed like it was a bunch of guys throwing everything they had out there. Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, Frankie Kazarian, Michael Shane, Petey Williams, guys like that.
Now it's a fake Macho Man, an Indian shaman, three comedy jobbers, Steiner Lite and Rocky's sparring partner.

The X division desparately needs new people. TNA seriously neds to raid ROH and take their 4-6 best wrestlers (whoever they are) and put them in the X Division. You can have Jigsaw, Rocky Romero, Pelle Primeau, Alex Payne and Ernie Osiris. Choose wisely.
