I don't care if Jeff does get a 10 month title reign right off the bat. I'd rather see that than any of the crap currently going on. I don't get this at all. There's been so much good stuff going on, are you even watching. Aj Styles- Angle matches are bad? Team 3d vs Christian promos? LAX with the tag titles. World X Cup? MCMG's winning matchs on TV? The KNockouts? This is all great stuff. I guess its perspective. Jarret is part owner of the company, and really should act as such. If he doesnt pretend he is just another worker. Its a perfect opportunity to have him want to push the company "forward" and feud with the "veterans" along side Joe and Styles.

If Jeff was really interested in the long term health of TNA as a company he should make this statement I am a sucky mid card level wrestler and will never wrestle in TNA again for the good of the company, thank you and goodbye forever. Poochy was then killed traveling back to his home planet

I like JJ, but I got really tired of his heel gimmick. When he returned as a face (for Lockdown 2007) and said it was time to "give back", I enjoyed seeing him in that role. He then put over Robert Roode in a match, which was a sign of "giving back". It looked like Jarrett was working on passing the torch in a final run in the ring. Then he had to leave again, due to personal issues. (RIP Jill) I hope that, if he returns, he does so as the "giving back" face that does what so many veterans seem to refuse to do in recent years -- pass the torch before he retires. I liked the whole "Jarrett gives back" storyline (such as Jeff letting Sting get the pin and world title shot during the "Lethal Lockdown" match) since it kind of had a "My Name is Earl" quality to it.

I dunno how I feel about Jarrett. I have a love/hate relationship with him. But it feels very fresh right now, which is always a good thing. So I'm glad he's back.
I'd like to see him vs Angle on the basis that in his absence Angle has been ruining the company he built.

Double J is only coming back for one reason: To goad Chyna into joining TNA and finishing their bitter rivalry at TNA's new PPV "No Leniency" Oh, if only! What a treat that'd be! The world is crying out for another gimmick match involving feminine hygene products! Incidentally, but on a Jarrett-related tip: As an ignorant Britisher, could someone from the US explain whether the term "Slapnuts" was common parlance before Jarrett came along, or did he coin the term himself? If he did, the man's a genius and deserves to be on TV all the time, just in the hope that he comes up with another fantastic term of abuse.

Jarrett "shoots" on Vince live on Raw... amazing how far we've come: Is Scott Hall the drug addict to whom Jarrett is referring to here (i.e. his feud w/ Razor Ramon for the Intercontinental title)? Also is it true that Austin rejected a storyline that had him working with Jarrett but vetoed it because he was upset about what JJ said about Austin 3:16 would hurt potential t-shirt sales?

Yes, he's referring to Scott Hall, but I don't know about the story with Austin. I've heard that's what happened, but I don't know for sure. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is my absolute FAVOURITE Jeff Jarrett promo. Shooting Vince "right between the eyes".

In all seriousness, because of the massive push Russo gave him (and his own doing in TNA) people just don't see that Jarrett is a damn good wrestler. No, he's not an Angle, but the man is beyond solid in the ring and can carry someone to a good match. But because he's had too much TV time (and I fully admit that) then it's "he sucks in the ring! He has no talent!" and I don't think that's true.
I know it's all subjective, but I'm happy for a Jarrett return, much more than a Sting return, who IS a mediocre wrestler.
