So with all the hinting of Jarrett and Sting coming with just there weapons being shown and not them do you think this is a cool build or just another future wrestle crap entry to be written.
I personally think it is dumb and is a total waste of time and instead of focusing on the future of TNA like they should be doing they instead take another page out of the WCW playbook and do a stupid storyline for two guys who should just retire. I mean if they actually shown them that would be different, but it's just their weapons which is well really, really lame.

I voted dumb. I dont like how they try to make Jarrett as important or on the same level as Sting. Honestly when they first started with the guitar bit at the last PPV I thought the Honky Tonk Man joined TNA. That would be a lot cooler than having legend in his own mind Jarrett coming back.

I don't get the Jarret hate around these parts. Its been a while since he's had any significant Main Event time so I've cooled down towards him from the hate a few years ago.

It looks to be shaping up as TNA vs high profile wrestlers who came from other companies. 2 reasons why. 1. If you saw the Booker promo he talks about Jarrett have special interest in TNA and wants to keep Joe champ. As TNA's 2 brightest "homegrown" talent are the ones Jarrett is helping. 2. Sting has attacketed Joe and Styles. While helping Booker and Angle. I expect Nash to join Sting in which some of the more younger talent in TNA will get invovled. I still don't know what Sting's motives are, But it would be strange if the was a tone down verison on the nWo taking over WCW. Here its the stars feeling disrespected by the younger TNA wrestlers. Joe attacking Devon with a chair after the match, For really no reason what so ever and the way Nash reactioned its turning into a respect Angle Plus, AJ has never acted the way he did after he defeated Kurt, Going badass on Kurt. Of course all of this is a guess, But it looks like they maybe going down this path. Jarrett leading TNA and Sting leading the disgrunted Stars.

I'm neutral at the moment, but it seems like this could easily degenerate into another "LOL, TNA"
Hopefully, we'll get some explanation by the end of the month.

Ah so this is the rumoured New Blood/Millionare's Club rehash. It doesn't sound like such a bad idea when you put it that way. There's some potential there.

How can anyone say what is cool or dumb when you don't know what's going to happen, and considering that the angle is only just starting?
So far, it's been pretty cool. Like someone posted in another thread previously, no one saw the guitar angle at the end of Hard Justice coming. To surprise the wrestling audience nowadays is near impossible, so it can't be anything but cool.
All we can do is wait and see how this whole angle turns out. Then we can vote as to whether it's cool or dumb.
Til then, for those of you who already say it's dumb, stop being so critical of TNA before the angle even plays out.

It's something fresh and different, especially with getting Jarrett involved, so I like it. However, if they're still doing the lights out/baseball bat/guitar a month from now, then it will start to get dumb.

I think its cool and its made me actually pay attention to the main event scene in TNA (which I usually ignore). I like the idea that there's some unseen backstage war going on between people that's just now spilling out into the Impact zone and that there's a lot of manipulating of pawns at play here. While TNA has a track record of taking a potentially terrific, yet unrealized, idea and turning into Katie Vick levels of idiocy - I'm still interested to see where they're going with this one. But I also like things that bring wrestlers together into a storyline. Styles, Joe, Nash, Sting, Jarrett, Angle, 3D and who knows what else. Now we have potential for a lot of main event talent to actually do something rather than quibble over the belt. What we have here is makings of an international TNA generational war . . . . . .unless I missed something."

I predict this will end in a double swerve, with Jarrett coming back as a heel and Sting as a face. I hope I'm wrong.

this ends in a recreation of the light saber duel in star wars, between vader and obi wan...only using a guitar and baseball bat.
