We've all seen him somewhere. Always playing the bad guy, hardly ever speak, seems to show up in every 80's and 90's action movie. You always recognise the face and wonder " who the hell is he" Myself, I only learned his name today, I've always wanted to know. Ladies, I present to you: AL LEONG.

Hey, everybody knows Al! He was the quintessential henchman of almost all 80s action movies.

He was also Genghis Kahn in Bill And Ted's Excellent Adventure (I knew he looked familiar).

Wasn't he kicking Mel Gibson's ass when he was chained up in "Lethal Weapon"?

Wasn't he kicking Mel Gibson's ass when he was chained up in "Lethal Weapon"? Yes, because he forgot more about causing pain that Mel Gibson or Gary Busey ever knew ... and that was a lot of pain. I knew the man was in a lot of movies and tv shows, but when you look up some of his roles on the IMDB, a few stick out. Like the 2 episodes of the A Team when he played the Asian Looking Thug and the Thug at Boat. And he was a Chinese Thug in an episode of Hunter. I have often wondered who would win a action movie thug competition, Al Leong or Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa. Who's he, you may ask? He was the heavy in Showdown in Little Tokyo, a little respected early 90's action film starring Dolph Lundgren and Brandon Lee. I almost picked that one up yesterday in a two pack with Bloodsport. Why I didn't, I'll never know ... On a side note (as long as we're speaking about actors that look familiar), yesterday I sat through Gridiron Gang, Transformers, and a strange little movie called Live Free or Die. That's what I get for surfing the movie channels. Anyway, it dawned on me as I was watching the last one that Kevin Dunn had parts in all three films. It was kind of strange ... Who's he? He played the dad in Transformers and Small Soldiers, which is a movie that I'm sure some crappers think is better than Transformers. ;D
