Papercuts? Biting your tongue? Stubbing a toenail? Getting a root canal done?

I don't think getting a ROOT CANAL DONE can even constitute as a "non-serious pain" lol. Isn't it one of the most painful experiences?
Personally I would say period cramps. Sometimes the period cramps I get can be described as a feeling as if someone is taking an ax to my vagina while punching my in the ovaries at the same time. All while being bent over backwards with my head dipped underwater.

The agony that is the middle of the night charlie horse. Not only is it horrible over the top pain, but it comes right as you are most relaxed and just want to sleep.

Do gallstones count? I don't know if people can die from that. If not, I agree with Kitty about cramps.

I just got over spraining my foot somehow (I was asleep when it happened) and walking on it was excruciating.

Nothing compares to being kicked square in the genitals. There is nothing tame about the instant pain, or that lingering that stays behind

I don't know, I got nailed pretty good by an errant swing at the park once and that was unbelievably awful.

I once had a tooth that needed a root canal but I didn't know it at the time. The pain was unbelievable. I was swallowing Advils like they were M&Ms - I'd take a handful of regular Advils and then a small batch of Extra Strength ones every few hours. I had tears coming down the side of my face, my skull felt like it was being ripped apart....(which is why I didn't think it was a tooth problem, it was the side of my head). I took pills like a maniac and went to the doctor and he didn't even know what it was. On a whim, I went to the dentist and bingo...it was ok.
However my blood pressure was so out of whack from all the Advils that I had to go on blood pressure meds for about three months.
One particular fun memory: One night the pain was horribly bad and I was willing to try anything to stop it. I wanted to shoot myself because it was so bad. Then, I got this "smart" idea to get some ice and apply to my skull because maybe it would help right? It did...I put the ice pack on my skull and I had blessed relief. Too bad that the moment my skull warmed up again the pain came back ten-fold. It was like someone had shot me in the head and decided to pick out bullet fragments with an ice-pick..while I was still alive and awake.

Some of the headaches I get are the woooorst. I've had some that were almost literally crippling, I couldn't do anything but clutch my forehead and writhe in pain.
I'll also agree with hangnails. I have an odd habit, you know how some bite their nails? I use one hand to pick at a nail until it devolops a split or crack (in the tip of the nail) and then just tear it off.
It hurts so bad but at the same time feels kind of good. But it results in a lot of hangnails.
NO IDEA WHY I do it, I've just done it for as long as I can remember.

The dull pain of a migraine is very painful. All that helps is painkillers.

Ah yes! the toe lock! That move's been banned in 45 states and Canada. That diabolical son of a so and so.
