I love me some KFC potato wedges. Sometimes I'll go there and just order a large side of them, nothing else.

I like new potatoes, parboiled in salted water, seasoned lightly with salt & pepper, then baked at 425 degrees for about 15 minutes. They're so good...

I like new potatoes, parboiled in salted water, seasoned lightly with salt & pepper, then baked at 425 degrees for about 15 minutes. They're so good... I boiled mine for a couple minutes to make soft, cut em into 8th wedges. Made a little batter consisting of 1 egg (yolk included) and 2 shredded peppers (as in with a cheese shredder) and a few odds and ends for flavoring like some garlic powder and steak seasonings from a grinder. Coated each wedge with the egg and mess and baked em for half an hour + at 400F. The left over egg and what not went into my raw ground beef for the hamburgers I was making but that's a whole 'nother issue of awesomeness right there. Dipped the wedges in some ketchup with a bit honey Mayo and a whole LOT of ground cayenne pepper mixed in. They were epic. I need to work some cheese onto those things and I'm onto something. EDIT: I forgot to include the fresh pepper I shredded. Fixed now.
