You know, for a Animated band they put out one Hell of a metal album. Even more impressive that it's just 2 guys doing it, Brendon Small and (the always awesome) Gene Hoglan. Birthday Dethday is the most metal Birthday song ever.

Yeah, the Dethalbum is awesome stuff.
I saw them live a couple of months ago...totally badass show. Seriously, everyone should do themselves a favour and see Dethklok live. It's great stuff.

It was cool for awhile, but the novelty wore off quick. Smalls is a helluva guitar player though.

"Mermaider" is totally underrated. Such an awesome song.
And my personal fave right now is ''Castratikron"

It was cool for awhile, but the novelty wore off quick. Smalls is a helluva guitar player though. Yeah. It made only the really good songs stay in my rotation. The Viking Trilogy is great.

I like it quite a bit. It's VERY cookie-cutter, extremely generic, and underwhelming for the genre... but since the point of Dethklok is to make fun of the genre, all those normal complaints actually work towards its awesomeness.
"Murdmaider" is still my favorite song on there as it's such a direct ape of "With Oden On Our Side"-era Amon Amarth.

what amazes me about Metalocalypse is that for a show with such a niche-target for its jokes, the show is so damn popular. good or them.

Gotta be Murder Train A-Comin' for me. I bought so many of those songs off of iTunes, as well as buying the first season.
