I doubt either would make it through production.

I love Guitar Hero far more than any 32 year old should, but I don't think the world needs a Guitar Hero movie.

His Guitar Hero idea seems similar to The Wizard.

...Well, we've reached the concievable end of everything with this failure of an idea. Good game, humanity. Let's pack it in.

how would you even go about writing Facebook the movie?? I mean what witty dialogue would you have? how could you write a narrative for it? story archs? twist ending? "Mwah ha ha, I was myspace all along".
Much like the clip on a girls bra... I don't get how this could possibly work!

Personally, I'm just waiting for IMDB: The Motion Picture That'd never sell, IMDB:TMP would be hell to get tickets for. They'd have to confirm your information weeks in advance, it'd be mess.

Honestly a movie about how Facebook was created isn't a bad idea as long as they actually tell the true story. Basically what happened is this kid in college stole the idea and format from some other guys in his dorm and now he is one of the richest people in America. I doubt they will tell it like that though. They will twist it to make it his idea.
Guitar Hero might not be too bad. I mean video game movies from the late 80s were bad but its not like they weren't fun. "The Wizard" anyone? I'm actually surprised they haven't done a video game movie yet for this generation.

On Attack of the Show they also mentioned that there's a Dreamswork animated Lolcat movie in the works, not sure if it was in jest or not, since it certainly sounds like a (bad) idea for a kids-like movie.

If that is the case then there may finally be hope for "Behind the Booking: The Dennis Stamp Story" that someone was putting into production here last year.
