Such a good film.
Goose was the shit, too bad he had to go out that way.

Man, I'd love to have a Pursuit Special AKA a 1973 Ford Falcon XB GT, thing probably gets 10MPG though. Yeah, Mad Max is a pretty awesome flick.

I just watched it a few weeks ago for the first time, and honestly, I didn't really like it. It was okay, but I thought it leaved a lot to be desired.
The ending was awesome, though. It was Saw before they even thought of Saw.

I like the anime version of it, Fist of the North Star.
Not EXACTLY the same, but pretty friggin close. It's obvious what inspired it.

I've been to the place in Australia they filmed mad max 2, it's called silverton and it's in the arsehole of nowhere. All there is, is a wee pub that has a charger car from the film outside, and a whole pile of old photos of Mel Gibson on the wall, it was pretty surreal.

Toecutter was an awesome bad guy character. Its pretty obvious where the Dreadnoks from GIJ got their influence.

QUESTION: Licorice Road - sexual reference or an actual place in Australia?
Or does she say "Licorice Ride"? Which is even more confusing because does that mean she likes getting diddled with a Twizzler?!!
Don't forget the Nightrider, y'all. Not Hasselhoff. The first Nightrider.
