Who would you qualify as today's Action Stars? Back in the day we had Schwarzenegger, Stallone, Van Damme and Segal putting out movies on a regular bases, to some extent they still do but lets face it, it isn't the 80's and 90's anymore. So who has taken up the mantel of Action Star of the New Millennium?
Vin Diesel? Jason Statham? Any others?

Don't tell Schwarzenegger and Stallone they aren't action stars anymore...they might make more movies Although if Schwarzy made Jingle All The Way 2...

You've forgotten the Bruce Willis. Though I consider him more comedy than action star. Lee Marvin was excellent, too.
Today's action dudes just aren't as rad. Like Vin Diesel, I don't get it. No charisma, no likability, just very dull. Statham is at least kinda like Willis, but with an accent.

Steven Seagal! He's still making movies isn't he? Except now he looks all farty and bloated.

NOW he looks farty and bloated?
Just kidding, he does look like he's not aging so well but he is in DTV hell as it is.
Lessee, Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, The Rock - that's all that I can think of for the moment too.

Omitting Clint Eastwood from that list is a SIN.
And you're forgetting Matt Damon, Daniel Craig, and Kevin McKidd.

Tyrese Gibson's becoming a pretty solid action movie star, too.

Mark Wahlberg to a degree. He does a good bit of drama, too. Same with almost all of these guys. Noone wants to settle into a nitch and fear being typecasted.

hey, Wesley just released a new film...direct to video...Wow, he is the new Segal.
My favorite action stars tend to be from Asia. Jet Li, Tony Jaa, Donnie Yen. Then guys like Statham, who has better acting chops than most of the action stars(not saying much, but still).
I cannot believe for the old guard no one said Chuck Norris.
