Sooo last night I decided to cook some lasagna.
Went through all the preparations...and about 30 minutes into cooking it I get pretty tired. Here's where the irrationality comes in. I decide, somehow, that taking a little nap will be totally fine. I figured that my microwave timer will wake me up.
Fast forward to 5:45 AM. I wake up...and wonder what time it is. Then the lasagna comes back to mind. I have never seen anything more burnt in my life. That shit was in there for just about 7 hours. It's pretty cooked, I'd say.
So I'm pretty lucky that the shit didn't catch fire. VERY lucky. I think. Maybe it was in no danger whatsoever. Either way...total waste of 10 dollars there.
I'll probably buy more though.

Awesome, wish you had a picture. I've burnt pizzas pretty bad before. I've also left the cardboard underneath them while cooking them lol.

Yeah I wish I had a camera to take a picture with. Well I guess I DO but it's an awful camera.
Oh well I might go grab it and take a picture in a bit anyway when it cools off some more.
It was black as the night.

I burnt ramen noodles once, black as coal. Wow, that's odd. How did you do that? Burning popcorn is always fun!

it is 6:50 here, and now I want freaking lasagna!
speaking of which, I wonder why they haven't made a breakfest lasagna! they've made a breakfast burrito, why no breakfast lasagna!?
I shall esperiment with this, substituting the cheese in lasagna for eggs and subbing the meat for sausage! however I'll keep the marinara.
I'll report back to you guys when I find out for certain that the food didn't give me any disease.

I'm kinda pissed well I figure it would work like this, I cook everything separate from each other and then layer it like a regualr lasagna and cover the top with marinara and some parm. I'd then bake it for like 10 minutes just to warm it up bassically since everything would've been cooked anyway and then serve. well that's my gameplan atleast. I should probably scramble the eggs too and then just slice open the casing of the sausage to use in the lasagna and cook that in the same pan as the eggs.

That sounds pretty awesome, though I would keep the cheese on the lasagna personally.
And probably add some hash browns.

I've made something kinda like the breakfast lasagna idea before, just without the lasagna noodles. I think next time I make it I'm gonna add them, cause that does sound pretty good.

If the ping was meant to wake you, and you slept through it, how did the microwave stay on for 7 hours?
