I dont think SNL will ever be in any danger of cancellation. Its like the tonight show or the today show, an NBC institution.

Have Norm MacDonald host it again (he did it once). And then put out a BEST OF NORM MACDONALD DVD like I've been waiting about 5 years for!

This is a topic for infinite comedy;
Barrack Obama Senior. Because polygamous goat herders with fake African accents are funny by nature.
But seriously, it's a matter of shilling.

Me. I would actually make it funny, which means I wouldn't last five seconds.

Always good Christoper Walken Alec Baldwin Steve Carell I'd add John Goodman but with his health issues he may night be up to the live show. I'd like to see Tom Hanks host again, but he hasn't done it for several years. Still I would watch if he was there. Then again I pretty much watch it every week What health issues?

I think SNL has gotten too political. 30 minutes of the show seems to be dedicated to poor political skits. And not enough attempts to make returning characters.

Also, they have some recurring characters, like that asshole couple and those Vincent Price holiday specials.

I actually prefer a de-emphasis on returning characters. I generally don't find hearing the same annoying catchphrase every week to be very funny.
