Let's face it, once the elections are over SNL will go back to sucking 100% of the time (as opposed to 80% like it is now). Here's why:
- Fred Armisen's impression of Obama just isn't that good. - Same goes for Darrell Hammond's John McCain. - Tina Fey already said she won't be doing Sarah Palin past election day.
So assuming they'll keep the same cast, they need some new people as hosts who have never hosted before. Tonight's Jon Hamm was a great start, but who else should host?
I think Dave Chappelle should get to host one week. Got any others?

Lets not lie, whose going to host it? Who has a new movie or album coming out that week? Its not about who will be funny, its who has something to shill.

Always good Christoper Walken Alec Baldwin Steve Carell
I'd add John Goodman but with his health issues he may night be up to the live show. I'd like to see Tom Hanks host again, but he hasn't done it for several years. Still I would watch if he was there. Then again I pretty much watch it every week

I hate the election stuff on SNL these days, these dudes just aren't Hartman or Carvey...but I love the rest of the show as it is.
Next week Affleck is hosting, that's a funny dude so should be a somewhat solid show.
Paul Rudd would be a great host, he's got Role Models come out so why not?

They need a wrestler to host again. You mean, Ku Fu Naki? That would be pretty rockin'!

They need a wrestler to host again. But who? HHH, Batista, or Cena maybe could do well, but anyone else that could do well does not have a current storyline that meshes well with comedy. Jericho, Edge, and Big Show could do well, but are serious heels right now. Miz and Morrison are good matches, but WWE's refusal to give proper focus to tag ranks means that they are not big enough stars. Neither is Santino. Matt and Jeff Hardy could to well on a Jackass-type of show (see The Hardy Show), or being straight up interviewed outside of the realm of kayfabe (see their recent DVD set), but neither one do scripted comedy much (though Matt was decent at it as V1).

Don't care, I haven't watched SNL since 2004. However, I would tune in to see either Paul Rudd or Jason Segal host.

A few random ones...
Cena. I think he could do a good job. Ron Perlman. He seems witty and the type who wouldn't mind making an ass out of himself. Seth Green, I agree. He should totally needs to host.
I wouldn't mind seeing Shia LeBeouf return. I thought he did a really good job.

Perlman would be awesome if only for the inevitable Beauty and the Beast skit.

John Goodman. John Goodman should host every show on tv. John Goodman hangs out a lot at the SNL set for a guy who never worked there. As to the question... Bruce Effin' Campbell. (Anyone wanna start a petition with me for Bruce Campbell to legally make Effin' his middle name?)
