"scarred, tortured, and damaged beyond human repair." You see this quote? This one right here? My first thought? Tattoos.

While it was a shitty payoff, it sure has hell swerved me.
I didn't see that being Rey's mask at all.
For the record, I doubt Kane & Mysterio can hold a decent match together with Rey's knees and Kane's size.

I thought it was great. I imagined Rey being tortured in a cellar somewhere. Freakin' awesomely creepy storyline.

I'd really enjoy if next week, he came out with another bag, and had another mask. He could do this every week with Hurricane, then Mankind, then, um...the Conquistadors. Or something. It could work nicely.

I wanted it to be Abyss' mask. I'd STILL mark for Abby being the "third brother" in the Kane/UT story.
Change Abyss' name to Abyll (Abel) and you might have lightning in a bottle again.

It's not a bad place for the angle to go at all. Rey wasn't doing anything anyway. It seems like some people are just bitter that they didn't call it before it happened.

Best I can figure, if they want to make sense of it all..... Kane was asking "Is he alive or dead" for quite a few weeks... then last week he said, "He's dead." So it may have taken a few weeks for his "torture" to work on Rey... then finally he sealed the deal and Rey was completely destroyed.
.... I don't know, it's the best I can come up with other than Kane just watched "Jurrasic Bark" had the same conflicted emotions most of us had our first time around.

Well he didn't start carrying the bag until the week after "Is he alive or is he dead" so they don't necessarily have to be related. Ok, because when he pulled out the mask the impression that I got was that Kane killed Rey Mysterio. Which of course would lead to Mysterio coming back as the undead lucha zombie Rey de Los Muertos (King of the Dead) and the rest writes itself.

3 storylines I was really enjoying
C.M Punk as champ- turned into (He's a guy who can only win when someone interferes.....makes him look like a weak lucky bastard) Anarchy- turned into (Adamle as G.M.....who?) Is he alive or dead - turned into (rey mysterio's mask....what?)
I must say I'm thoroughly disappointed in how all three turned out

They Kane stated that he was refering to the monster inside him, but it wasn't his mask in the bag. I like where this is going, as Kane and Rey would interesting, and entertaining, but I wouldn't make any judgments until after the whole angle ends, all we know is Kane has a monster inside and maybe roasted Rey's nuts on an open fire.

I hope this just means that Rey Mysterio is dead. 9.WRESTLER (and other celeb/person) BASHING - Do not go too far in bashing wrestlers or wrestling personalties past or present. For example, wishing death or serious injury on a Wrestler (or any other person for that matter) will not stand. Do not go too far in mentioning a wrestlers "Personal Demons" or any rumors you may have heard about them.We do have wrestlers who post here. You don't have to kiss their ass, just be respectful.

From Wikipedia:
"A MacGuffin (sometimes McGuffin) is a plot device that motivates the characters or advances the story, but the details of which are of little or no importance otherwise.
The element that distinguishes a MacGuffin from other types of plot devices is that it is not important what the object specifically is. Anything that serves as a motivation will do. The MacGuffin might even be ambiguous. Its importance is accepted by the story's characters, but it does not actually have any effect on the story. It can be generic or left open to interpretation.
The MacGuffin is common in films, especially thrillers. Commonly, though not always, the MacGuffin is the central focus of the film in the first act, and later declines in importance as the struggles and motivations of characters play out. Sometimes the MacGuffin is all but forgotten by the end of the film."

They so should have had Kane pull his lunch out of the bag.
Banana Some granola bars PB&J crusts cut off And a energy drink.
I would have laughed my ass off at a completely useless dead end story like that.

The main thing that bothered me was that the announcers completely no-sold the event right after the commerical break. Wouldn't the thought of Mysterio "missing" be on their minds? That's something that WCW always did well. If a breaking story was happening (usually involving the nWo), they would appear bothered, as if it really got under their skin.
Also, did they really need to job Kane to Jericho? It could have easily been a DQ ending after Kane started freaking out when he say Adamle. I don't know...i've always hated how Kane has been such an easy JTTS for the past couple of years.

The thing that bothered me more than that, Dean, was how FEARLESS Adamle was towards Kane. Heck, even the McMahons showed more fear and uneasiness around Kane than Adamle. The writers need to address this soon....like at SummerSlam soon. Kane should be pissed as all hell that Adamle didn't show him the proper fear and respect he deserves....and he should just MAUL Adamle (or at LEAST destroy the GM's office) to rectify this.

Actually, I found it quite refreshing to see a non-wrestler not cowering in fear at the sight of Kane.
