Jericho>>>>>>Snoreton
Y2J should definitely be the next guy to run with the title, Batista doesnt really need it at this point.Save it for a feud with Cena leading to Mania.

Yes, a Punk/Jericho feud can be awesome. However, I think Punk's moveset has been a bit too set, though, especially the high knee-GTS combo, so it may be better if he expands it a bit more.

They'd never give Punk the same position as Cena. Two totally different individuals, two totally different destinies within the WWE. He'll eventually lose the title, amass the mid card titles (I don't see him winning the Spinner belt...ever), and have a good run in the company. But not a Cena run.

Has Punk developed his character at all beyond "I'm a good guy who likes the fans who also happens to be straight-edge"? If WWE ever allowed him to have a personality, I might care a little more. Exactly. How about letting your champion actually cut a promo in the ring.

To second something that another poster mentioned, the WWE really seems to want Punk to be the new Bret Hart.
I think that it's a good idea.

Ditto on the Bret Hart vibe, I almost made a thread about that once actually.
Early 90s Bret obviously, not mid/late 90s.
