Oh yes, Dick Tracy. I've had the game for almost 20 years and still haven't beaten it either.

I never did see the movie (still haven't...I need to) but I remember loving this game as a kid...I also remember loving TMNT on the NES and hating TMNT2 on the NES so...
Yeah, this game does suck. I remember the driving, oh man.
I remember for some reason my brother being able to arrest that Flattop guy off the bat. I dunno how, but he did.

He didn't really do his homework. There's tons of health powerups, you just have to use them after you pick them up. I've beaten the first level without any problems.

Sweet. Give us a new DBZ Abridged this week too and I'll be a happy Void. I noticed they have a new one up every 2-3 weeks, so they are about due for a new one. Not to mention the Surf Ninja Nostalgia Critic, the first time he's gonna review a movie I saw/owned as a kid.

Good review. Never really cared for Dick Tracy, but that game did look pretty frustrating.
And might I add: Awesome ending.

Personally, the majority of it was boring. It felt to me like he was saving everything up for the ending.

The thing is it seems to me that the health powerup mechanism as it were is not immediately obvious, yes he could've looked it up, but at the same time putting it into perspective. or...something. I dunno.

Didn't know anything about the game, but I had every action figure and vehicle! Some still MISB. Even "The Blank"? I NEVER saw that in stores even though it was on the back of the card. I looked all over the state when I was a kid in desperate hope of finding it. I wonder why it was so damn hard to find.

Dunno why anymore (I used to know the reason, but long forgot it). Similar to how the last wave of the original Return of the Jedi/Power of the Force figures were only released (mostly) in Europe and some of the He-Man figs (the two foot-tall giants) were only released in South America and maybe Europe.

I remember The Tramp's figure being recalled. Not sure why now though.

I just did a little digging and found this as the reason for its rareness/non-exsistence to most of us. "The reason this figure is so rare is as follows: The Blank was sold exclusively in Canada and was initially withheld because the mask (attached to hat) is removable revealing Madonna and the surprise ending of the film. By the time the figure was cleared, sales of Dick Tracy merchandise had died off. Figure would never have been released except for a Sears Canada contract which had to be fulfilled up to Christmas." Well at least it wasn't like the Phantasm figure for BTAS: Mask of the Phantasm's that actually had the mask off in the blister.
