apparently in 2002, when Bradshaw won the HC title he re-introduced it as the Texas Hardcore title with a different blet which was like the smokin skull but with a texas flag on it.
anyone got pics of this?

It's visible in this video:
And because I know discussion will arise of it, this video contains Tommy Dreamer's license plate belt:

Dreamer's belt looks like a Raw Tag Title with the license plate attached to it somehow. Couldn't make out if Bradshaw's belt was another belt or if it was one specially made for him.

RVD was the last champion, considering he won it in that match. Also you could count the presentation of the belt to Foley a few years later, and Foley dubbing himself and Edge co-Hardcore Champions.

I thought that too but they didn't mention anything about the hardcore title on the line. They just said it's the last time we'll see it. I don't count Foley since the Title is still inactive.

RVD unified the title with the IC title, so it became inactive, so Vince decided to retire it to Mick Foley, the first hardcore champion

Did anyone else a custom hardcore title? I seem to remember Johnny The Bull with a different looking belt?

Why did they get rid of the Hardcore title, anyway? I can understand getting rid of the European Title, but there always seemed to be some storyline going on for the hardcore title.

The title became a joke especially in the 24/7 rule the the tltle changes hand every second. Remem Wrestlemania 16 when the title changed hands like 20 times in 15 minutes.
