No Plant means that Zeppelin won't break the Stones' record. Okay, they probably still will. But with Plant, they shatter the record, easily.

I'm on the fence here...
Sure, LZ without Plant wouldn't quite be LZ, but on the other hand Plant's voice wasn't in such a great shape, IIRC. So what's worse? A voiceless Plant squeaking his way through the classic setlist, or an adequate replacement singing competently, and possibly leading to a new studio album?

I don't buy the story. Page, Jones and Bonham have played together a little, but I don't see them doing anything without Plant. The media is gonna drag this out until the Plant/Krauss tour wraps up.

That'd be like Queen without Freddie Mercury! ...oh wait... At least that was a very valid excuse. And I gurantee if they do get a differant singer, they still charge $400 for tickets.

I'm not even a Led Zeppelin fan and I'll say that would be wrong. I just can't picture them without Plant.

Lame. May as well go see a tribute band IMO. That'd be the better choice even with Plant as the frontman... Tribute band of classic acts are the closest thing to the real band that you can hear, as the aging real bands tend to drop in quality over time, especially the singers...

Go listen to their reunion show from last year. For their age, it sounded great.

Get Axl Rose, he sounds almost as squeaky.

I just hope that Sammy Hagar doesn't replace him. Rocky, goddammit, I just about fell out of my chair laughing at that remark. I doubt Sammy would be interested though, since he's just made himself much richer with the deal he brokered for his tequila, and he and Mike Anthony will be recording a new album soon. So clearly, the obvious choice to replace Plant? David Coverdale.

Honestly, this strikes me as NEWZ!!!!11ELEVENshift
Zep on a headline garners view. Zep having rehearsed with some other guys = fantastical story. Therefore, Zep is going to tour without Plant.
Man, the crevice of logic that was leaped...
