The never ending cycle of friendships and rivalries between Big Show and Kane are some of my favorites. Seriously, their run as tag champs was really fun.
This match surprised the hell out of me. I'm not gonna say it was good (Because, let's be honest, it wasn't) but damn if it wasn't surprising to see. It's especially fun with JR putting over the slugfest bound to happen between the two prior to the match. Kayfabe-wise, this match shows what a good announcer can do. JR put over the fact countless times that Big Show wasn't trying to hurt Kane, rather, he was almost messing with him and trying to lighten the mood a bit more. It helped spin what was a bad match into something kinda good...
They need to feud again...

Anything Kane and Big Show do together is gold, going right back to the 2000 Rumble.

I am convinced both guys got together before the bout and said "Hey, let's just have some fun with this, let's dust off some chain wrestling." Maybe they were even dared to do it by the locker room.
I think pretty much the same thing happened in that Batista-Kane match a couple weeks back, apart from the necessary climax. Sometimes it's good just to stretch yourself and do something different, even if it's only for the amusement of yourself and the guys in the back.

I think the story was that Vince was tired of seeing the same big man matches and told Kane and Big Show to go out there and chain wrestle, Kane and Big Show thought it was a joke but the agents told them the same thing

That's great. Totally half-hearted shill for Kane's crappy movie, they never even bothered to disqualify Kane or declare the match a DQ. They even played his music like he won.
Also, long live Cruiserweight Moves 2.

Whenever I watch these it makes me really frustrated.
Why do they keep f***ing up Kane?

ROFL @ Big Show getting tired in the middle of the match. Coughing, huffing, dude was way outta shape then.

The fans crapping all over that match proved that fans want the same old crap so they can later complain about the same old crap being the same old crap.
Kane and Big Show are no Kurt Angle or HBK, but hell, they tried to perform a different match, and considering their size and fitness, it was enjoyable.
Sure better than the usual Big Men match. I mean, power moves are cool, but as it was a build-up match and not the big one on PPV, an "outside the box" bout was a welcome breath of fresh air
Sadly, if there isn't a flip flop involved or it isn't the formularic Videogame-style match, fans chant boring

And you can tell the fans who are chanting boring, they're the ones who have never wrestled but now how every match should pan out. It's good to see, something different and interesting and, as Show's laughing, something somewhat fun.

I remember when Kane got locked in a door and Big Show was going all out trying to save Kane. Kane just walks up behind Big Show going, I went the other way or something. Kane seems to make tag teams work.

I'll always remember this match. I just took it as 2 friends who didn't really want to hurt one another, but damn it was weird seeing them chain wrestling Oh, do I long for the days when Kane had balls. He shows signs here or there, but he's usually on the losing end of most feuds. But I guess that's what he wants...

I remember really liking this match when I first saw it. It was something you never saw from Kane or Show.

Kane seems to make tag teams work. Sure I saw that on Youtube recently...Show is yelling "I'll save you!" and begins pushing a forklift (!) out of the way of the door...then Kane strolls in from behind and asks what he's doing.

I immediately knew it was this match when I read the thread title. I love this match because it's good and honest fun and tells a great story to the match. (Kane isn't right in the head, so Show doesn't want to hurt him in their match, he wants to have fun).
I believe it was best described as Angle/Benoit in Slow Motion
