You know if left alone, in a few years that area would just be a smooth green field again that you'd never know was ever inhabited by man.

Not so much that Nature doesn't like us, but building huge homes in places like that or constructing an entire city under sea level that is constantly threatened by hurricanes during that season is indicative of our lack of common sense as a species. I think its less a product of Nature getting even and more a law of averages as far as the number of stupid people living in the world.
Where wild animals adopt to their environment, we build resort towns that have a high likeability of flooding with any storm that comes through in an area known for those same storms.

I've been saying for years that we're in a war with nature and we're letting it kick our ass
A few bombs into forests etc. will let it know we ain't taking it's shit anymore!

Dude, Mother Nature is PISSED. At this point there is no global warming, just global cooking.
The North Pole is a pool, and it's 105 in the middle of the country. Some guy walks up and asks me "Is it hot enough for you?" to which I reply, "Nah, I like sweat to rolling down the crack of my ass like Niagara! I like my old man titties to lactate my man!"

Well, that's pretty fair game considering the way WE treat her. That being said, she has an unfortunate tendency to be pretty clumsy when she decides to punish some of us and eventually strikes the ones who were the least likely to be the true offenders. But yeah, remember those Weapon things in FF7? Our planet actually as them, only they're called Tsunami, Hurricane, Earthquake, Landslide, Flood, etc... The ironic thing is that the more powerful we feel, the more we're loading these weapons!

We also need three goddamn versions of Bahamut, and for some crazy reason, the Knights of the Round Table.
