I thought it was decent, though I also think tonight's non-loss is going to lead to Punk winning back his title in a non-fluke way.

I liked it. Thought it was a good run.
If he went over HHH, Batista and Cena on a nightly basis like some crazies wanted him too, he'd be just as annoying and overpushed as the above three.
I liked that fact that his run was not the same damn thing I've seen 50 times in the last 10 years.

A bit disapointed from his matches, but it was good while it lasted. Also, it manifested Punk in the title picture. Now we can get to see him chasing the belt.

He was barely a champion, maybe if he gets it back in six years like Jericho just did it'll go better.

Wrong champion, dull run.
Punk is good, but he got the WHC too soon, with little buildup and no direction. His defenses were unimpressive.
Probably the way he was booked to drop the belt is meant to keep a door open for a second, more convincing run, but as for now his title reign is totally forgettable.
Not totally his fault, but regardless of the half-assed booking, I wasn't impressed.

It wasn't the most exciting thing to watch but I think it the long run it will help his career.

If they were going to keep up his being an 'underdog champion', then he really should've kept the belt longer. His reign was a total disappointment when you consider how it could've gone - all he did was beat JBL about 4 times, get two DQs against Batista (when it seemed he was on the verge of losing) and generally looked weak throughout. If he'd have gotten longer and started cleanly going over more established names, it would've made the reign seem a lot more legit and worthwhile.

I didn't hate it, and it lasted a lot longer than expected.
I remember fearing they were going to transition the belt to JBL right after Punk won it.
I remember being terrified that Punk was merely a placeholder for Batista.
I remember the dread that he would not be able to step foot in his hometown as Champion.
All of my fears were proven unfounded, and for that I'm glad. While the reign could have ended better, the way I see it, this way opens up more doors than it would have if Punk was in the match and lost it, or if Punk ended up "overcoming the odds" Cena-style to retain.

I think it sets him up for a future reign that's booked more credibly.

No matter how shabbily the run was up until now (close wins, roll ups), ending it like this cheapens the whole thing. He had to use MITB and a Batista beating to win the title. Now he loses it without gettin pinned? I think the kid puts out a lot of energy to get this kind of wrap up. UNLESS he did something incredibly stupid and got suspended.
Let's see what happens tonight on RAW.

Since the reign was more or less to introduce the Raw audience to Punk, I'd call it decent.

I said from the start I was just going to sit back, recognize that CM PUNK is the World Champion of WWE, and just enjoy the ride. I did just that. Someone I never thought would be on top of the company was. The reign was fine, and I expect it won't be his last.

It was a decent run and he had it a bit longer than I thought as I had him pegged as losing it in July or at Summerslam.

Sucktastic run that got him more boos than support, he was never the mainevent of the show and the only times that he was, it was only because he happened to be the guy with the title.
If it wasn't about Kane or Batista, it was bout Cena or the championship itself.
The only good part for me was when he won it.

They've only scratched the surface of what he can do, so I can't give it more than a "decent reign." However, I WILL go on record saying it was a great unexpected run, that went from being a transitional shock value run to a legitimate title run. Yes, it was pretty short when you look at it now, but it was a hell of a lot longer than most of us assumed it would be when he won. I have absolutely no complaints about it, I do think he deserves another one in the future. But for right now, for his position in the company.... I cannot complain one bit. Bingo. As highlighted above, it was a shock pop that he turned into a legitinate run. Not to say I don't have complaints, especially the way he vacated the title. But he got over with the title and he's much more credible for having been champ. And even a pending angle with Orton could be good for his career, so all is not lost in the way he dropped it, provided him and Randall have a good fued in which Punk isn't just chopped into little bits in a one sided borefest.
