I thought the Genesis kicked ass when I was younger.
I had all of the Sonic games, RBI Baseball 93, Toejam and Earl II, Beavis and Butthead, Road Rash 3D and a host of other games.

What the crap is a Wondermega, or a Laseractive, for that matter?
I'm one of the most hardcoreiest of the hardcore Sega nerds and both of those have me scratching my head. I figure the Wondermega is a Sega CD standalone or something...but that other sorta looks like a VCR with a floppy drive.
Nevermind, that's pretty neat.

At my house, there was a Genesis there until 2003 when everyone else started using PS2 full-time, and the Genesis was a waste of space. In the meantime, here's a list of games I had for it:
Sonic 1, 2, 3, " " and Knuckles, " " Spinball Super Monaco, Aryton Senna's Super Monaco II Outrun Outrun 2019 Tiny Toons: Buster's Hidden Treasure Aladdin Bubsy Streets of Rage 2 Marble Madness Road Rash 1, 2, and 3 Lion King Boogerman Vectorman 1 and 2 (both catridges died) Beavis and Butthead Bugs Bunny Double Trouble Sega Channel (when it used to be a service, updated every Friday with new games) Combat Cars Tazmania Desert Demolition ESPN Baseball Tonight
but I saved the best game for last: KID CHAMELEON! Probably the most epic game on the Genesis ever, and horribly underrated.

I had the most fun with the system than any I've ever owned. Dunno what happened to it. Thinking maybe I traded it in for my N64 (bad move if that's what I did). Favorite games were NHL 94, Madden 94, and World Series Baseball.

I had a 32X, I think it's safe to say I was commited to the device. Virtua Fighter, AT THE HOUSE!!!!?!! It wasn't quite the same, but it was enough. I forget though, could you run regular Genny games through it? If so, LOL at the thought of playing a Sonic game that was plugged into Sonic & Knuckles that was plugged into your 32X that was plugged into your Genesis.

I will say this now: The genesis gave birth to my favorite RPG Series Shining Force and during the hayday, I had the Sega channel and played it religiously, so the Genesis has a special place in my heart.

I don't remember ALL of the games I had, but I remember having a model 2 Genesis. These are the games I remember owning:
- Primal Rage - Disney's Aladdin - Eternal Champions - Disney's Lion King - Jurassic Park - Sonic the Hedgehog - Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Zombies Ate My Neighbors!!! - Mighty Morphing Power Rangers - Clue - Madden 95 - Vectorman - Shinobi III - Streets of Rage - Streets of Rage II - Mortal Kombat - Mortal Kombat II
My cousins also had a Genesis and when they would spend the night, they would bring over some of their games, of which I can only remember one of the Madden games and some off road racing game.

I lost the first Genesis I had(no one know what happened to it, it just vanished two years ago).....and along with it, went all of my games. However, last year I found at a thrift store a Model 2 Genesis with a SEGA CD attached to it. I bought all the Genesis and SEGA CD games the thrift store had, and the only highlight games was ECCO the Dolphin for the SEGA CD and Zombies Ate My Neighbors!!! for the Genesis. The system WORKS, it just.....lacks all the cables needed to output video and sound. One of these days I am going to stop by a Game Exchange and see if they have the missing cables. They should, seeing how they sell anything gaming related....

I've had the Genesis II Two times and the micro-sized Genesis III once before the SOB conked out on me. Anyway in my opinion the Genesis was, and always will be better than the SNES. Games: -Sonic 1 -Sonic 2 -Sonic 3 -Sonic & Knuckles -Sonic Spinball -Vectorman -Super Street Fighter 2 -Street Fighter 2: Special Championship Edition (Better than SF2 Turbo) -Gunstar Heroes (One of the greatest ever.) -Triple Play '96 -Madden NFL '97 -NFL '95 -NBA Live '97 -Coach K College Basketball -Mortal Kombat 3 -NFL Quarterback Club '96 -Tecmo Super Bowl -Tecmo Super Bowl 3 -NHL '94 -NHL '96 -Golden Axe 2 -TMNT: Hyperstone Heist (Great game, but second-rate compared to Turtles In Time)

Been a while since i picked up some genesis stuff, so here's an update.
Pick up Valis a couple weeks ago, but today i found 2 things.
1. a copy of Cool Spot, complete with box and book.
2. a Sega Genesis model 2. in pretty good shape. the back outlet is a little loose, but it still works fine. i already have a Model 1, but it's always good to have a spare just in case. plus, i have a spare adaptor for my Game Gear.
