I've been white most my life, and I would LOVE to land me a hot black chick.

To me, it only makes you racist if you do it not because that's what arouses you, but because you "have to keep things pure" or that crap. Agreed. I'm all for crossing the streams, myself. I... don't know if that reference works, but whatever, I got my point across. I'm attracted to women of all races, from Felicia Day to Norah Jones, from the woman in 28 Days Later to America Ferrera. Just kind of hard for me to pinpoint what in a woman catches my eye, it isn't always the same.

Do I prefer white or black women?
I believe the answer here is "yes."

I think that women who are only attracted to black guys are racist.
Especially if they tell me this upfront.
You can draw your own conclusions. I have mine but they would indicate a form of prejudice.
I'm not white either.

I agree with the idea that who you are attracted to the most does not have anything to do with racism, it's only if the reason for that is racist.
It's all about treating other people equally in normal day to day situations regardless of race. If you tend to be more attracted to people of one race than another, but generally treat other people as equal human beings, then I don't see a problem.

I think that's even more poignant with the sig.
If anything, pretending to be someone you're not, to avoid claims of racism, seems to imply a lot worse than honesty would.

The question, "Only attracted to WHITES=racist?"... is in and of itself a question of racism.
Mighta' been better to ask: "Only attracted to a particular race=racist?"
I'm a white girl and have always been attracted to white guys. But I'll be honest here and admit that while occasionally I see a good looking "other", I may not be inclined to date him -- for the very reason of race. This is only to suggest that some things are important enough to consider carefully. After all, there is a lot more to race than color and physical variation. As a rule, one's race determines one's historical background, thus one's ideology, thus one's self-image, thus one's motivations, thus one's aspirations, thus one's endeavors, viewpoints, and approaches. Also, the choices I make affect the lives of my family... would, with equal likelihood, affect HIS family; not to mention the dubious multitude of new family, friends, and children, who stand to populate our futures. Therefore, I say: To acknowledge these fundamentals is NOT AT ALL to be racist. But to avoid all consideration of such is downright pretentious and self-defeating.

....and I think all that can be said has been throughout this thread. Think I'm ending it before it does take a turn for the worse.
