Time for the next batch and it's the 10 point gang who came joint 167th ... Supreme Who is he?: Created by Rob Liefield and Brian Murray. originally a violent, egotistical Superman archetype, he was rebooted by Alan Moore to pay tribute to the classic Silver Age Superman mythos. This new version of Supreme had a secret identity as Ethan Crane, a mild-mannered artist for Dazzle Comics, who received his powers as a result of a childhood exposure to a meteorite composed of pure Supremium, a meta-element that can alter reality. When not saving the world as the archetypal superhero, Crane illustrated the adventures of Omniman, a Supreme-like character undergoing a re-launch with a change of writers So what can he do?: He has pretty much the same powers as Superman in that he has superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, breath and vision, Flight but also has molecular adaptation to any threat. He has a sister and dog with similar powers. Cyborg Superman A robotic Superman?: Sort of, following his exposure to cosmic radiation and subsequent "death," Hank Henshaw's consciousness survives in an electronic state, making him virtually indestructible (He survived Darkseid's Omega Beams) as he can transfer his electronic consciousness into any nearby machine (and even some that are light years away). Henshaw is able to 'inhabit' any machine or technology and manipulate said devices as though they are living metal. So why is he superman?: At first before he became a villain Henshaw's electronic consciousness had begun to disrupt Earth's communications networks. Using NASA communications equipment, Henshaw beams his mind into the 'birthing matrix' which had carried Superman from Krypton to Earth as an infant. He creates a small exploration craft from the birthing matrix and departs into outer space alone. This eventually turns him mad, blaming Superman for various problems in his distorted mind. Nocturne She looks familiar?: That's because she is from an alternate reality outside the main Marvel Universe (Earth-616). She is the daughter of that reality's Nightcrawler and the Scarlet Witch and is a member of New Excalibur currently. Prior to his she was a member of the Exiles. So what can she do?: Nocturne's powers include the ability to enter and possess another person's body for up to 12 hours; the experience usually leaves the other person comatose for up to 24 hours. Nocturne can also fire "hex bolts," destructive projectiles made up of extradimensional energy from the dimension Nightcrawler teleports through. Her agility, balance, bodily coordination and flexibility are at superhuman levels and she has some latent teleportation abilites. Black Tom Cassidy What's this guys deal?: Black Tom is a mutant who can manipulate, bond with and project energy through plant life. The X-Man Banshee is his cousin. Tom secretly raised Banshee’s daughter Siryn, of whose existence Banshee was unaware, and conscripted her into his criminal gang. Black Tom was also a longtime partner of the super-strong villain Juggernaut. Anything else of note?: Although his powers usually only allow him to project concussive balsts through wood, he did contract a virus that merged him with plant life and made him lose his grip on sanity. During this transformation he killed a few people inculding Sammy Paré ( A 10 year old mutant boy who was friends with the Juggernaut) .

Next up is those that got 11 points. All nine of them came joint 163rd ... Arcade This must be a joke right?: Don't joke, Arcade is a murdering psychopath/hitman who builds his own amusement parks known as Murderworld. He is usually paid to lure heroes to Murderworld so he can kill them.. So who has he fought? Every marvel superhero just about at one point or another has faced Arcade and Murderworld. From the X-men to Ghost Rider he has attempted to kill them all. He usually escapes at the last minute so he can continue to terroise other heroes. Although he has blacklisted Adam X and Shatterstar as he considers them too dangerous to his employees and himself. Cyborg Who is this guy?: After a science disaster at his parents labratory, Victor was left mutilated. To save his son, Victor's father outfitted him with experimental prosthetics of his own design. However, the equipment could not be worn inconspicuously, and thus Victor was horrified to see much of his body, including part of his face, replaced with sheer metallic limbs and implants. Anything else?: He joined the Teen Titans, initially for the benefit of a support group of kindred spirits and outsiders and has remained with that group ever since. He is probably most well known for appearing in the Teen Titans cartoon where he has a massive cannon on his arm. Cypher Cypher, Sounds cool?:Yeah, well he has the superhuman intuitive facility for translating languages, whether written or spoken, human or alien. This ability also extended to deciphering codes and computer languages. Oh, so maybe not the useful power, has he done anything else?: Apart from having some relationships with Wolfsbane, Psylocke and Shadowcat his most notable role before and after his deathw as with Warlock. They merged to form Douglock, eventually Warlock regained control but keeps the mmeories of Cypher with him. Static Who is he?: Like any other awkward 15 year-old, Virgil Hawkins worries about sex, pocket money, and getting beaten up. But recently, he's had even more on his mind: stuff like his powers, his secret identity, and sex. Because, when innocents are in danger, and Virgil can slip away from class, the geeky youth becomes Static, the dashing, adventurous superhero! Ok so what can he do?: Hsi main ability is to use a variety of electromagnetic powers. These range from simple blots of electric energy and flight to controlling other electronic objects from a distance, all thanks to a chemical spill. Violator/Clown This guy looks scary, who is he?: The Clown is probably Spawn's most recognizeable villain. He serves as Malebolgia's henchman and lackey. His purpose is to guide Hellspawn towards fulfilling Malebolgia's desire: to cultivate evil souls on Earth for Hell's army. He's been Hell's guide for multiple Hellspawn, his latest charge being the current Spawn, Al Simmons. Why is he a clown?: He's not that is just the appearence he takes. He isin fact a horrible demon from hell with various demon powers and is more than a match for young hellspawn. Venus Dee Milo Who is this girl?: Venus is a being made of pure energy, and without a special containment suit designed by Professor X, she would not even have a physical form. She uses her energy to teleport with pin-point accuracy, and she can also use it as a weapon or a healing aid. That must have made life tricky?:Her mutant powers manifested during a spat with her family when she was a little girl; the explosion completely destroyed her grandmother's home, and Venus grew up believing that she had killed her entire family. Venus struggled with manic-depression and made numerous suicide attempts, but finally attempted to join X-Force so that she could redeem herself. Catwoman I know her, she fights batman right?: Correct, The original and most widely known Catwoman, Selina Kyle, first appeared in Batman #1 (Spring 1940) in which she was known as The Cat. As an adversary of Batman, she was a whip-carrying burglar with a taste for high stake thefts. Modern writers have attributed her activities and costumed identity as a response to a history of abuse. You said original, there is more than one?: This is true, Holly Robinson is a frequent ally and sidekick of Catwoman. She was trained by Wildcat and her friend Selina Kyle, and became the new Catwoman following the birth of Selina's daughter. They both have the same abilites. Miracle Man He looks like a friendly superhero?: Originally known as Marvelman in his native United Kingdom. Marvelman's origin was based strongly on that of Captain Marvel: a young reporter named Micky Moran encounters an astrophysicist who gives him his super powers, based on atomic energy. To transform into Marvelman, he has to speak the word "Kimota" (phonetically, "atomic" backwards). What should we know about the character?: Alan Moore took the character into dark territory when he took over the mantle. Notably the story about Kid Miracleman (Miracleman's sidekick) Now out of his catatonia, the small, spindly boy has been repeatedly beaten by several older bullies at his group home. When one of them goes so far as to rape him, Johnny's desperation leads him to transform into Kid Miracleman. Slaughtering his attackers, Bates unleashes a murderous vengeful holocaust on London while Miracleman, Miraclewoman, and their allies are in outer space. The gory excess of Kid Miracleman's rampage and that of the battle which followed when Miracleman and his allies return to discover the carnage is highly disturbing, featuring a degree of violence not previously seen in superhero battles. John Totleben's detailed apocalyptic renderings are still acclaimed today (by the few who possess a copy of the book). Depicted are people running from a rain of severed hands and feet, skins hung up on clothes lines, corpses impaled on the hands of Big Ben, the Tower Bridge in ruin, mounds of severed heads, heads on pikes, cars full of people plummeting to earth, mutilated children wandering screaming through the streets, and countless dead bodies. The Chameleon Isn't this a Spidey villain?: It is, Originally, the Chameleon had no superhuman powers and simply used makeup and elaborate costuming to impersonate his targets. In order to do this, he implemented a device in a belt buckle that emitted a gas that helped him mold his features. He then aquired technology to do this and it is now inate within him. He is also the first Supervillain Spiderman faced. So who is he?:The Chameleon was born a Russian citizen named Dmitri Smerdyakov. In his youth, he was a servant and half-brother to Kraven the Hunter. He has died before but this was faked so he could fade into the background so his schemes would not be noticed.

We are back ... and now for those who came joint 154th with twelve points .... Alexander Luthor Jr The name is familiar, who is he? Alexander Luthor, Jr. is born on Earth-Three, the son of that world's Lex Luthor, who is known as "Alexander Luthor", and Lois Lane-Luthor. The senior Alexander Luthor is Earth-Three's only hero, fighting the Crime Syndicate, an evil version of the Justice League of America. Alexander's greatest talent is his genius-level intellect, which he uses to manipulate other characters, to outwit his enemies, and to engineer the Multiverse Tower. The circumstances of his escape from the doomed Earth-Three give him power over matter and anti-matter, which he can use offensively as bursts of energy or to form and control dimensional portals. What did he do?: He is repsonsible for the universe changing Infinite Crisis that affected the whole of the DC universe and created New Earth. He also assembled a huge group of villains known as the Society of Super-Villains. After being defeated he was shot and killed by the Joker (The only major villain not inovled in the entire scheme) with Lex Luthor standing near by gloating. Solomon Grundy Does he want to eat my brains?: In the late 19th century, a wealthy merchant named Cyrus Gold is murdered and his body disposed of in Slaughter Swamp, near Gotham City. Fifty years later, the corpse is reanimated as a huge shambling figure with almost no memory of its past life. Gold murders two escaped criminals who are hiding out in the marsh and steals their clothes. He shows up in a hobo camp and, when asked about his name, one of the few things he can recall is that he was "born on a Monday". One of the men at the camp mentions the nursery rhyme character Solomon Grundy So is he a threat?: Grundy is a dangerous super-strong unkillable beast of a zombie. he has died many times only to come back again and again. He has had varying levels of intelligence over the years Dead Girl Looks like she could do with some rest: She is a mixture of ghost and zombie. Her civilian name has never been fully revealed, but she admitted after some cajoling that her first name is/was "Moonbeam." Dead Girl's mutant gene allows her to return to semi-life after dying; she is also able to become intangible and communicate with other dead people. What else should we know?: A member of X-Static she is currently at odds withThe Pitiful One. Psylocke Who's the sexy ninja? Betsy Braddock is a mutant who uses telekinesis. She is the sister of Captain Britain and a member of the X-Men. Known for using psychic knives she now wields a telekinetic katana. I thought she was British? She is, but she swtiched minds with an asian ninja and now has all the fighting skills of a ninja combined with her mutant ability. Herr Starr Who is this scarred guy? A former German special forces soldier and a member (later leader) of the secretive organisation known as The Grail, in the Preacher series. Herr Starr is the recipient of a variety of unfortunate and humilating injuries throughout the story. What does he want?: He seeks order and control, and intends on using Jesse as the instrument for this goal. He is eventually killed by Tulip in the final Alamo gunfight. Titanium Man So what's this guys deal? Seeking to win back the Communist Party's favor, Boris Bullski conceived the idea of winning a propaganda victory against the West by defeating the American superhero Iron Man. He assigned the scientists to create a powerful suit of titanium armor based on the Iron Man technology. Bullski received permission to issue his challenge and Iron Man accepted, defeating Titanium Man in a battle before a worldwide television audience. What happened after this?: The Titanium Man has returned on several occasions, with new drivers (The Gremlin) or with unkown wielders lending itself a bit of mystery. Tony Stark haas even hired the Titanium Man on one occasion.

Now we have those that got thirteen points ... and made it to 148th. Clayface Who's this monster?: Clayface is a batman villain and has had several incarnations over the years. Most of them have shapeshifting abilites and a clay-like body. The first four briefly all joined forces and became the mud Pack, but Batman defeated them. So who has been a Clayface?:Right, 1st is Basil Karlo a former horror actor driven mad. The 2nd isMatt hagen a treasure hunter who finds a mysterious clay like substance. The 3rd is Preston Payne who when looking for a cure to his disease tries to use Hagen's powers but it backfires turning him into a kind of clay vampire. The 4th is Sondra Fuller aka Lady Clay who works for Strike force Kobra and volunteers for the process. The 5th is Cassius "Clay" Payne the son ofPreston and Sondra and the 6th is Johnny Williams who gets the powers after an accident and is then manipulated by the villain Hush. There is also the Claything which are grown from Cassius body if clay is seperated. Madman Who is he?: Madman (aka Frank Einstein) is not your average hero. Named after Frank Sinatra and Albert Einstein, his name is also a pun on Frankenstein. In a world of mutants, aliens and freaks he is the only superhero. Frank was a hitman who was killed in a car accident, then stitched back together and brought to life by a pair of mad scientists, Dr. Egon Boiffard and Dr. Gillespie Flem. This resurrection leaves Frank with supernatural reflexes and a slight degree of precognitive and empathic power. Anything else we should know?: Frank's mind possesses supernatural intuitive talent for learning things. This supernatutal ability allows him to instinctively learn any skill and gain knowledge at a superhuman rate. he also has various psychic abilites and superhuman coordination. Dazzler Who is she?: A mutant with the ability to convert sound vibrations into light and energy beams, Dazzler was originally developed as a cross-promotional, multi-media creation between Casablanca Records, Filmworks, and Marvel Comics until the tie-ins were dropped in 1980. she has since moved on to other music genres like techno/trance. What else do we need to know?: Her mutant powers first manifested when she was in high school. An aspiring singer, she volunteered to perform at her school dance when her light-generating abilities first appeared. Everyone at the dance assumed it was a technologically-generated special effect, and this assumption would continue until she was revealed as a mutant. she has helped and fought various supervillains over the years and is currently a member of excalibur. MODOK What is it?: George Tarleton was born in Bangor, Maine. As an adult, he became a technician and agent of Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM). Scientists at AIM tried to create a powerful being to analyze and probe the Cosmic Cube, while still being subservient to the higher echelons of the organization. To that end they mutagenically altered Tarleton, one of their technicians of average intelligence, into the super intelligent being, MODOC (Mobile/Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing). These scientists unwisely did not take into consideration the theory that superior ability naturally leads to superior ambition and so instead of a MODOC they got a MODOK (Replace computing with killing) What can he do?: Despite being a giant floating head. MODOK has a superhuman mental acumen, making him, in theory, capable of knowledge and comprehension beyond the human ability to understand. He has also developed various weapons over the years and has several hundred underlings in the form of AIM henchmen. MODOK's musculature is atrophied, while his head has been freakishly enlarged. Thus he is physically dependent on the exoskeleton provided by his hover-chair for physical support and movement.

Now it is time for those that came joint 144th with 14 points. Apocalypse Who's this guy?: Apocalypse was introduced in X-Factor as a centuries-old mutant obsessed with the Social Darwinist philosophy of survival of the fittest. The character employs highly advanced technology in his schemes, such as transforming Angel into one of his Four Horsemen and infecting Cyclops' son with a "techno-organic virus". Has he done anything truly evil?:Where do I start? He conquered the world in a parallel universe know as The Age of Apocalypse. He tried to become a god in 'The Twelve' using other mutants and has tried various other schemes and plans that have clashed with the x-men over the years. Apocalypse was initially portrayed as a shape-shifter with the ability to teleport himself including others over unknown distances, but his powers have been greatly expanded since then, and he has displayed immense strength, near invulnerability, rapid regeneration, energy absorbing and projecting, as well as some telepathic and telekinetic capabilities. Mystique Isn't she a shapeshifter?: Correct, she is a mutant shapeshifter whose natural appearance includes blue skin and yellow eyes. She is over 100 years old, Mystique is also the biological mother of Graydon Creed and Nightcrawler and foster mother of Rogue. She was forced to abandon Nightcrawler, but raised Rogue for a number of years and the two women have mixed feelings towards one another. She is one of the few bisexual characters in comics. What kind of person is she?: Throughout most of her history, Mystique has been a supervillainess, leading the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and assassinating several important humans involved in mutant affairs. However, she recently worked on behalf of the X-Men's Professor X in a short-lived eponymous series, and was provisionally voted into the X-Men. This didn't last thoug, betraying the X-Men in Messiah Complex despite killing Mr. Sinister. Beast Boy Why is this guy green?: As a child, Garfield contracted a rare illness called Sakutia and is cured by a serum extracted from a green monkey. This serum had the unintended effect of turning his skin and hair green and granted him the ability to morph into any animal of his choice. Any animal?:Beast Boy has the ability to morph into any animal that he has seen himself or has seen in an illustration (as is the case when he shapeshifts into an animal such as an extinct dinosaur). These transformations take only a second and Beast Boy has demonstrated that he is capable of rapidly changing his form with little or no effort expended. His power enables him to completely alter his body mass, being able to take the shape of animals far larger and heavier than himself, such as an elephant, a hippopotamus, or a Tyrannosaurus Rex . Mongul What can you tell me about him?: Mongul is a tyrannical ruler of Warworld. A planet where the population is entertained by gladitorial fights to the death. He attempted to get Superman to fight in these bouts but instead had to flee as Superman helped in the revolt. He has since died but his son Mongul II continues on in his name. What can he do?:Mongul possesses extraordinary superhuman physical attributes. Mongul also had the capacity to create dimensional-inversion cubes, designed to prevent escape by warping their interior reality and absorbing any power used against them from within. He also possessed a limited capacity for telepathy, and could teleport himself across even interplanetary distances. Morbius How did a vampire get in this list?: Michael Morbius was born in Greece and was actually a Nobel Prize-winning biochemist, who had attempted to cure himself of a rare blood disease with an experimental treatment involving vampire bats and electroshock therapy. However, he instead became afflicted with a far worse condition that mimicked the powers and blood-thirst of legendary vampirism. So what can he do and who opposes him?:Morbius now had to digest blood in order to survive and had a strong aversion to light. He gained the ability to fly, as well as superhuman strength, speed, and healing abilities. This has led him to clash with Spider-man mainly but he also has had issues with various vampire related marvel charcaters including Blade.

Next up with 15 points each and at joint 139th ... Abomination Where did this guy come from?: Stan Lee created the character out of a desire to give the Hulk a villain who could physically attack him. He chose the name "the Abomination", which he realized belonged to no other character, before conceiving the character's background and appearance. Lee recalled that he simply told the artist Gil Kane to "make him bigger and stronger than the Hulk and we'll have a lot of fun with him". So who is he and what can he do?: Emil Blonsky is a KGB agent and spy who becomes the Abomination after deliberately exposing himself to a greater quantity of the same gamma radiation that transformed Bruce Banner into the Hulk. Blonsky is transformed into a massive green-skinned monster with physical strength exceeding that of the Hulk; in his first appearance, he is more than twice as powerful as the Hulk. Although he retains his mental faculties, Blonsky soon discovers his inability to return to human form. Havok Who is he?: A mutant, Havok generates powerful “plasma blasts”, an ability he has had difficulty controlling. He is the younger brother of the X-Men’s Cyclops and older brother of Vulcan. He often resents Cyclops’ authoritative attitude and reputation as a model X-Man. What has he got up to?: At odds with his brother cyclops Havok has joined the x-men on occasion and has a on-off relationship with Polaris. He is currently trapped by Vulcan in the Shiar empire deep underwater. Cheetah Who is this cat like woman?: There have been four different Cheetahs since the character's premiere, including Priscilla Rich (the Golden Age Cheetah), Deborah Domaine (the Silver Age Cheetah), Barbara Ann Minerva (the modern age and current Cheetah), and Sebastian Ballesteros (a male usurper who briefly assumed the role in 2001). All of whom have faced and fought Wonder Woman. What can she do?: Teh current Cheetah has the ability to morph into powerfully ferocious cat-human hybrids with their own pelts, tail, pointed ears, and fang-like canines which have made them challenging opponents to Wonder Woman in battle. Metallo This guy looks scary, who is he?: John Corben was a small-time con man who was fatally injured in a car crash, but to his luck Professor Emmet Vale happened to pass by. Professor Vale was a pioneer in robotics, and erroneously believed that Superman was the first in a wave of superpowered Kryptonian invaders. Vale transplanted Corben's brain into a robotic body, which was powered by a two-pound chunk of kryptonite, and instructed him to kill Superman. Metallo — the alloy his body was made of, and now Corben's new moniker — thanked Vale by snapping his neck, killing him. Nasty, so what can he do?: Metallo’s metallic body offers him a high degree of protection from physical and energy attacks. He has enhanced strength, endurance and agility. Metallo no longer needs to eat, sleep or breathe. His brain is hermetically sealed inside a shielded alloy skull that has its own power supply. When he was first created he was powered by a Kryptonite heart. Metallo sold his soul to Neron in order to gain the ability to absorb any mechanical or metal object he touches. He can transform any machine into an extension of his exo-skeleton. Brainiac 13 upgraded Metallo to tap into light spectra and energy frequencies. Metallo also used the technology to upgrade his body to monolithic proportions. Manchester Black Who is this guy?: He was English, as shown by his accent and his omnipresent Union Flag T-shirt. Very little is known about his background; what little that is known include insinuations that he was abused both physically and sexually by his parents while growing up. Manchester later says that he grew up hating traditional heroes, especially those who believed in high moral concepts such as never killing under any circumstances, personally feeling that the only way to truly stop the villains was to kill them. What can he do?: Black was an incredibly gifted telekinetic and telepath and was capable of amazingly precise use of his telekinesis. He was able to give Superman the equivalent of a stroke, for example, by telekinetically pinching blood vessels in Superman's brain. He could also create very powerful illusions. Invisible Woman Who is she?: Susan Storm is one member of the crime fighting group the Fantastic Four. She is married to Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) and brother of Johnny Storm (The Human Torch) she is also good friens with Ben Grimm (The Thing) What can she do?: Susan Storm has the ability to turn invisible. However, she can also project powerful fields of invisible energy which she uses for a variety of offensive and defensive effects. Originally a dmasel in dsitress figure, Sue is now considered one of the most powerful superheroes in the Marvel universe. Electro Who's this guy in this odd costume? Maxwell Dillon Spider-Man villain and has electric powers. While he was repairing a power line, a freak lightning accident resulted in a mutagenic change in his nervous system, transforming Dillon into a living electrical capacitor. Taking the name Electro, he turned to a life of a professional criminal, his first victim being J. Jonah Jameson. Has he done anything of note?: Most of the time he has been defeated quite easily and put back in jail, although he has immense power he is generally not too smart in using them. He was hired by Jessica Drew (Spider-Woman, who had been replaced by the Skrull Queen Veranke) to free Karl Lykos (also known as Sauron) from The Raft, a maximum-security prison for supervillains which in fact turned into a mass breakout.

Up next with 16 points at joint 132nd .... Forge Who is he?: A mutant with an unsurpassed brilliance in technology, Forge has had a lengthy career as a government weapons contractor. He shared a romantic relationship with Storm, and a brief affair with Emma Frost which led him to associate with the X-Men, beefing-up the technology at the X-Mansion. He was also a member of the Pentagon-funded mutant group X-Factor. So he can build anything?: Yep over the years he has built all sorts of things from a machine that can detect dire wraiths, his own cybernetic limbs, a specilaised pacemaker for Strong Guy and a mutnat neutraliser. These creations have often fallen into the wrong hands. Forge also possesses various mystical abilities such as spell casting through mystical training, though he rarely uses these. He possesses extensive knowledge of Native American magic. Sleepwalker Who is this scary person?: The Mindscape is a dimension that borders on the minds of all living things, inhabited by many strange creatures. Some of them are very dangerous, seeking to invade the sleeping minds of humans. The Sleepwalkers act to defend these minds, almost as a sort of "dream police", apprehending such evil creatures. One such Sleepwalker was tricked by his archenemy Cobweb (who like Sleepwalker had a real name that is unpronounceable by humans) into entering the mind of a New York college student named Rick Sheridan and became trapped.Rick and Sleepwalker eventually worked out an understanding, allowing the alien to fight crime and various injustices. This was not easy, as Sleepwalker's appearance caused fear among regular people. So what can he do apart from looking creepy?: Sleepwalker possesses super strength, exceptional durability and resistance to injury, and floatation-like flight. His only offensive power is his "warp gaze". With this vision-based power, Sleepwalker could alter the shape of physical objects and twist them to his purposes. Owing to an oath sworn by all members of his race, Sleepwalker tried not to use his warp beams on living entities. He became addicted to the light, using it to escape his problems in a way similar to drug abuse or alcoholism. Sleepwalker's obsession with the light had tragic consequences, including the creation of Spectra and putting Rick into a coma. Horrified at what he had done, Sleepwalker managed to overcome his addiction and saved Rick's mind from the invasion of the Thought Police. US Agent Hey, it's Captain America!: Nope, this is John Walker who grew up idolizing his older brother, Mike. Mike was a soldier and helicopter pilot who died in the Vietnam War. John wanted to honor his brother's memory by enlisting in the military. After John left the military, he was told by a friend about the Power Broker, a mysterious individual who gave people superhuman abilities. Walker and his friend received the treatment, which granted the gifts of superhuman physical power. So what's with the the similar Captain America costume?: Heavily in debt he met a man named Thurm who persuaded Walker to become a hero. With Thurm backing him, Walker debuted as the corporate-sponsored Super-Patriot. Walker, as Super-Patriot, traveled the country promoting his image to the nation. He would have a rivlary with Captain America during this period. He eventually became the US Agent after a breif stint sitting in for Captain America. He became the field leader of the Jury, a group of armored corporate vigilantes, owned by Edwin Cord, owner of Cordco. U.S. Agent again wearing his original U.S. Agent uniform and now using an eagle-shaped shield that could be directed in midair via remote control. Ra's Al Ghul Who is this sinister looking guy?: Ra's al Ghul is an international terrorist and assassin whose ultimate goal is a world in perfect environmental balance. He believes that the best way to achieve this balance is to eliminate most of humanity. Ra's usually tries to assault the world's human populace with a biological weapon, such as a genetically-engineered virus. He is aided in this quest by the Lazarus Pits, reservoirs of rejuvenating chemicals that restore the dying to life; these pits have granted him a lifespan of several hundred years. Anything else?: He considers Batman his most worthy opponent, and has frequently sought to make the Dark Knight his successor. He is one of the few criminals in Batman's rogues gallery to have deduced his secret identity as Bruce Wayne. For his own part, Batman's opposition to Ra's is complicated by his love for the villain's daughter, Talia. He also appeared as the main villain in the film 'Batman Begins'. Toyman Who is this guy?: Winslow Schott was a quiet, nice little man who loved to make toys. One day, he is laid off by his employers, who consider his toys too old fashioned and useless. Desiring revenge, Schott adopts the persona of the Toyman and sends exploding toys to the chief executive officers of the company that fired him. Superman stopped him before he could murder Lex Luthor (LexCorp owned the toy company). Wait this guy fights Superman?:Yes, although Schott's character would receive a dramatic overhaul years later, as he went from a mostly harmless minor villain to a deranged child killer. He has genius level abilities regarding the creation and operation of all kinds of mechanical devices, usually in the form of toys.

The countdown continues as we hit those that got 17 points and reached joint 127th .... Rhino Looks tough, who is he?: The Rhino was initially Aleksei Sytsevich, a poor immigrant from Russia who was desperate to pay for the rest of his family to come to the United States. One day he was contacted by some Eastern Bloc agents, who offered him a vast sum of money for participating in an incredible experiment. Sytsevich agreed, and was subjected to intensive chemical and radioactive treatment, which bonded a superstrong polymer to his skin and greatly augmented his strength and speed. He was given the code name "Rhino," and was sent to work as a super-assassin. Has he done anything of note?: Rhino once decided to seek help to improve his mind the same way his body had been improved: through science. He sought out a scientist who had an experimental treatment to increase his intelligence. To his surprise the treatment actually worked and he was able to defeat Spider-Man, who had always outsmarted him in the past. Next, he took over the majority of the criminal operations in the city and started a law suit against Spider-Man that prevented the hero coming within 500 yards of him. However, his intelligence continued to increase exponentially and, with no intellectual competition, he began to find life boring; he even rewrote "Hamlet" because he found the writing style sloppy, and in his depression pointed out to Spider-Man that he was able to deduce Spider-Man was Peter Parker through a simple equation that could give him the identities of any costumed hero. When he began to approach omniscience he worried that such high intelligence would drive him insane so, although he briefly contemplated suicide, he elected to have the process reversed, actually making himself "a little MORE stupid than [he] used to be... Just to be on the safe side." Hydroman What is this guys' deal?: Morris "Morrie" Bench gains his superpowers while as a crewman on the cargo ship the U.S.S. Bulldog, having been knocked overboard while a powerful experimental generator is being tested in the ocean. The combination of unknown radiation and his immersion in a deep ocean dwelling bacteria turns him into the Hydro-Man. What is he like?: Apart from being merged with the Sandman into a composite mud/quicksand-like creature. Hydro-Man is a typical low rent super criminal, joining supervillain teams such as the Sinister Syndicate, including that of the Frightful Four. While working with the Sinister Syndicate, Hydro-Man demonstrates a willingness to put up with just about anything in the name of financial gain. He ignores the constant politicking of the other members and looks past the Beetle's betrayal of the group to the Kingpin in the belief that the group was economically beneficial to him. Kid Miracleman Why is this guy so evil looking?: Originally he was just a nice sidekick to Miracleman (Marvelman) Unofrtunatly due to complicated events with virtual reality and presumed death of his mentor by the early 1980s, Kid Marvelman has become a violent, sadistic sociopath and the head of a corporation known as Sunburst Cybernetics. Keeping his true nature a secret, he nurses a deep, unreasoning hatred toward Marvelman, who suddenly re-appears. He locates Marvelman's human identity, and invites him to his corporate headquarters. Kid Marvelman reveals the depths to which he has sunk, murdering his own secretary in front of his former mentor and threatening to do the same to Marvelman's wife. The two battle, the former sidekick easily dominating the hero with vastly increased abilities and new powers (developed through decades of remaining exclusively in superhuman form). So what happened?: After a breif period where he has become human again, the sociopathic superhero returns. A battle between Kid Marvelman and Marvelman, Marvelwoman, Firedrake, and the Warpsmiths results in Kid Marvelman ravaging London and horrificly murdering much of the city's population. Throughout the battle, Kid Marvelman shrugs off the others' attacks while inflicting terrible damage on his foes. Marvelman's critically injured ally, the Warpsmith Aza Chorn, teleports a chunk of debris halfway into Kid Marvelman's head and a girder through his chest, crippling him and forcing him to resume human form to escape the unbelievable pain. A wounded Marvelman cradles Johnny in his arms, assures him everything will be fine, then swiftly kills him, both to end the long suffering he has endured from Kid Marvelman's mind games and to prevent Kid Marvelman from ever escaping again. Marvelman and his allies use the destruction of London as a pretext for taking over Earth's governments. Sasquatch Who is this beast?: Dr. Walter Langkowski is a member of Alpha Flight and a renowned physicist. He is also a former American football player for the Green Bay Packers. He possesses the ability to transform into a super-strong, orange-haired beast resembling the legendary Sasquatch. This transformation is triggered by willpower. In his transformed state, Langkowski has increased strength, stamina, and resistance to injury. He also has sharp claws and is able to leap incredible distances. What has he been up to?: Apart from the usual superheroics, Sasquatch was the only original Alpha flight memeber to survive the encounter with The Collective. Currenttly he has helped build a new Canadian government sponsered group known as Omega Flight. Miss Martian Who's this pretty green gal?: Miss Martian possesses abilities similar to Martian Manhunter. She can fly, shapeshift, turn intangible and fire energy blasts from her eyes. She is a telepath who can read minds, however people know when she is inside their mind. She also has great strength and the ability to turn invisible. Like all Martians, she is vulnerable to fire. Anything else?: Miss Martian is a White Martian known as M'gann M'orzz. She serves as a member of the Teen Titans during the year between the events depicted in Infinite Crisis and the "One Year Later" stories. On Earth, she simplifies her name to Megan Morse. Initially, M'gann pretended to be a Green Martian, like the Martian Manhunter, and joined the Teen Titans. Dormammu Shouldn't he put that fire out on his head?: The Dread Dormammu is not to be rifed with. Dormammu is composed of pure mystic energy, eclipsing even the greatest of sorcerers in terms of raw power and the ability to manipulate the forces of magic, including Doctor Strange, which is increased and replenished by worship throughout various dimensions. Among many examples, he is capable of matter transmutations, interdimensional teleportation, size transformations, time travel, creating artificial beings, vastly powerful magic blasts, changing his appearance, or empowering others. He can draw upon the power of the entire Dark Dimension, but is somewhat more limited when present in another universe. So he fights Doctor Strange then?: Pretty much, you could in fact consider him to be Strange's arch rival (Baron Mordo often undercedes to Dormammu. ) He has tried countless times to invade our dimension and take over but has been countered by Doctor Strange everytime.

Next up the only three to get 18 points at a joint postion of 121 ... Scorpion Who is he?: Mac Gargan was a private investigator initially hired by J. Jonah Jameson to find out how Peter Parker is able to obtain incredible pictures of Spider-Man. This didn't work out so well, and he was then volunteered to be a test subject for a mutagenic experiment which turned him into the Scorpion. This process granted him superior powers to spider-man but also drove him insane. He has been a constant foe of the wall-crawler and Jameson over the years. I haven't seen him recently where has he gone?: Recently Mac Gargan ditched the Scorpion costume and replaced it with the Venom symbiote. Mac Gargan is now Venom and has all the abilites that the symbiote grants. It has also turned him into a cannibal, as he recently bit off and ate one of the scarlet spiders arms. Kitty Pride Who is she?: Shadowcat possesses a "phasing" ability that essentially allows her and objects or people she is in contact with to become intangible. This mutant power also disrupts any electrical fields she passes through, and lets her simulate levitation, literally letting her "walk on air". She possesses a genius level IQ, is an expert with computers, and has a significant proficiency in several forms of martial arts. At the time of her membership, Kitty was the youngest person ever to be invited to join the X-Men. So apart from phasing through things what she done?: She has been good friends with a highly intelligent alien resembling a dragon, who followed her home after a mission in outer space. She was and is invovled in a relationship with colossus. Most recently she phased a giant missile thorugh the earth (which turned out to be a giant bullet) but collapsed in the empty centre of it afterwards and is now considered lost in space. Sinestro Who's this guy?: Sinestro was originally the greatest Green Lantern that the Corps ever had. He had the skill, discipline, and courage to take on any crisis that may occur. He was also known for having the most orderly sector in the cosmos. Unfortunatly whilst training Hal Jordan it turned out that he was a tyrannical leader of his sector and unjust. Eventually he was imprisoned and over time has turned insane. What's he done?: Most recently Sinestro formed the Sinestro Corps which served in direct opposition to the Green Lantern Corps, using yellow rings instead of green rings. Sinestro masterminded a massive attack plan against the Green Lantern Corps in an event that has come to be known as the Sinestro Corps War. In the end this plan failed and he is once again imprisoned.
