What the hell, I'll predict as well.
ALDS: Rays over ChiSox/Twins (3-1) BoSox over Angels (3-2)
NLDS: Dodgers over Cubs (3-2) Phillies over Brewers (3-0)
(SIDENOTE: Thome's homer just now was BELTED. Holy crap.)
ALCS: BoSox over Rays (4-2)
NLCS: Phillies over Dodgers (4-2)
World Series: Phillies over BoSox (4-3)
Although I would kinda like to see a Red Sox/Dodgers series. That is if the Sox have to be in it at all. If the Rays win it, it would kinda prove that you can be last place one year and champs the next.

Whew, Twins escape that tricky spot.
Time for the bats to wake up. Time is almost up.

I wonder if Ozzie lets Jenks go two. Unless he lets hitters get to him in the 8th, why not? 7 innings on 1 hit? Fantastic work.

Know what? I changed my mind. Bring Jenks in, a 1-run lead is hard to trust a starter who's been pitching 8 innings with in a game like this. Even if he has only given up 2 hits.

Which is bullcrap. I agree with what is being said on Mike and Mike in the Morning, the Twins won the season series 10 games to 8, and now have to go to Chicago to get in the playoffs. If Chicago wins, the Twins still have a winning record against them. But couldn't win a play-in game, where home field was decided on a coinflip. The Twins winning the series wouldn't have meant crap. They use the coin-flip because the playoffs are all about luck, not skill. The best team doesn't really win it all, and it's been that way since the beginning. The coin-flip is a stupid rule. The Twins win the season series yet have to play at Chicago to get in the playoffs. The game should be in Minnesota.
