With the Nolan/Bale Batman movies kicking ass and Hulk being well good this time has got me thinking how much of a missed opportunity Fantastic Four was. I mean c'mon there must be some talented filmmaker out there who was itching to make a Fantastic Four film. Oh and when you recast the roles? heres my suggestion for Sue. Kristen Bell. Feel free to suggest other cast choices.

That's not actually a bad suggestion for Susan. But I kinda liked the Fantastic Four movies...for what they are, of course.

I don't know if you can get a more appropriate actor for Ben Grimm.

I'm just obsessed with Kristen Bell at the moment.
It's starting to get unhealthy.

Chris Evans was fine as Torch too. Mr. Fantastic wasn't terrible either.
Much as I love K.Bell, she has the same problem as Alba in the role, she doesn't feel motherly.

Jude Law was born to play Richards.
Daniel Craig for Doom.
Keep Micheal Chickliss at all costs.

Am I the only person on this board who LIKES Jessica Alba? I do, just not as Sue. She was perfect in Dark Angel, but hasn't really found a place since. And she got to dang skinny for me and it makes me sad. The bad bleach job doesn't help either.

I liked the films, I felt they captured the goofy eseence of the Fantastic Four really well.
In fact I'll go out on a limb and say they are the best marvel films behind the X-Men series and iron man. (and blade)

I agrees. Really like the FF movies for being lighter in tone than the rest of the movies, they're just more fun and for that I don't have a problem with Alba as Sue, maybe if they were being taken down a more serious path, Renée Zellweger or Leslie Bibb would be more suitable, as something fun and whatnot, Alba fine. Not everything needs to be uber-serious and a drag. Thumbs up to Tim Story's FF movies.

(and blade) Yeah. I liked the as well. Plus, with the Hulk reboot having had happened, a Daredevil reboot reported/rumored, a Punisher reboot, and maybe another one or two I'm missing (not really counting Nick Fury yet... I know they're not gonna Hassel the Hoff as that was years ago, but I sorta don't see Samuel L. doing the role)... I think they should try to limit the amount of reboots.

I don't know if you can get a more appropriate actor for Ben Grimm. For Thing, he's a good actor, but the impact of becoming this huge montser is lost somewhat when you start off as a big dude. It's a little like Khali becoming a foot taller. Not as dramatic as it could be.

I liked the Fantastic Four movies.
They weren't perfect but they were campy and fun just like the books. The last thing we need is a "super serious" Fantastic Four reboot.

That's a good point. Also Doom should already be established as the lord of Latveria we all know and just drop hints about his past (Like Darth Vader), give him an air of mystery.

The human torch was a douche in these films. If anything I'd get a f***ing blond guy at the very least. As far as Alba goes, I don't give a rat's ass if she can't supposedly act or not, I like her. I'd also set the film in the past-60's or so because that's when the comic launched and quite frankly I'm sick of modern times.

well you know, they'd have to stop making money with the franchise before deciding to reboot it, you know.
I'm just saying
